Is Pixie really leaving so soon? I think she really lifts the show. I actually do like Myra a lot as top dog, she is a strong leader but she seems like Bea without the humorous touches. And certainly without Lizzie, the laughs aren't as frequent as they used to be. I suppose there's Cass at times and now bumbling Joyce Barry :/
How do you eat with your left hand when you are right handed? Do you get into the habit? I'm from America and I'm just curious? I want to know the same thing? Are there any other toilets with doors?
@Sheri451 as an ex-pat Aussie my (American) inlaws find how I use my cutlery aka silverware highly entertaining. Your fork is always in your left hand, your knife always in your right- and you cut food bit by bit as you go rather than cut it up and then switch your fork into your right. Honestly, the 'continental way' takes a lot longer than the American way... but it's easy for me because it's course of habit :)
Reb is loving the use of broken glass at the moment!! nothing beats my absolute fave Prisoner scene when Margo did a midnight special trick on Kay White with the glass in the hamburger!!!
@fannyeam oh yes you are right it is a tin of pins you use for sewing, however I never saw that until you pointed it out. The broken glass I commented about was a different scene =))
@09djh I'm looking forward to watching it all over again. This is the first time I ever got the chance to see the entire series. When it was on here(U.S.A.) I was a little kid & some busybody/prude had it removed from broadcast after only 1&1/2 seasons. Now as an adult I enjoy the show even more. My only regret is that most of the wonderful actors who played in this series are no longer with us, so I have no one to send letters of praise & thanks to. Try finding the "U.F.O." series? :-)
