No, it seriously has a freer market than the US. There is almost no regulation of business. It's easier to open and run a business in China than in the US. There's also almost not tax. The Republicans can only dream of an economy like Chinas. Even the health care system is more private sector orientated than in the US. It's pretty much only the emergency services and the military who are state run these days.

The Chinese government is strong, but not omnipotent. They try to develop poor regions, but it's difficult. In general they are more successful than the western world though, in this respect. So many are not poor anymore like in no other area of the world.

The Nazi lead an orchestrated extermination plan. They set out to commit genocide. They rounded Jews up and put them in death camps for the purpose of committing mass murder.
Japan did not set out to exterminate the Chinese. In fact most Chinese died because Japan disrupted the harvest and the economy. They starved to death or died from disease and exposure. There was no Asian "final solution".

My argument is that democracy is very costly (the US election is a prime example), it does not always work (Chen Hui Bian and Bush) and that a united rule by a single party is often more efficient (Singapore, China).
Plato lived in a democracy, but he believed that rule by philosopher-kings is better.

I ve seen videos of those labor camps, this is true. This is not a lie! People in there work almost 24/7, they have almost no food to eat, they get tortured, they work with very dangerous products and etc.. They receive no money since it s a punishment of being a falun dafa practitionner, a underground christian, a human right activists, or whatever, off course you wont know these thing because chinese internet is censored byt the Golden shield firewall. Use Freenet to overpass the firewall!
