I've seen videos on here where the guys "walked" the graders with the blade sideways to get out of holes and ruts.... I've done it with articulating loaders with the buckets...
I think you would have known it if the power was damaged! Like a flash or bang perhaps?
You did well to get out of there, and it is surprising just how 'sticky' that clay type mud can be, certainly strong enough to hold back several hundred horse power!
today i managed to get the western star stuck in a paddock the boss came wasnt very happy tried to pull me out with his western didnt have any success he took off to get a digger which was 2 ks away and he wuld have had to walk it that far so i dug a bit of a flat ground and managed to get it out after an half an hour haha what a big day that was.
and geuse what he didnt even start bringing the digger up to get me lol nevermind sweet as.

I saw a big loader cut a power line. It blew a nice chuck out of the bucket. The operator never felt a thing

Nice job! Hard to pull that many handles and watch. I hate it when I create more work than I had to do, but not as bad as being stuck and alone!

if you hit the power line with the machine your is would of been toast....well atleast the machine would be shorted out
