@filipthegamer To the contrary, it sounded correct did it not? And if it didn't it is due to his own interpretation of the song. You shouldn't follow rules on how to hit the notes in the piano, after you learn how to move your hands and you know your hands better that is(the theory), you should develop your own ways, I personally move my hands the most conftable way possible. Thats what music is about, its about developing your skills, not copying...

1: Yes we do, obviously you arent at the level of skill where you realize not all notes can be played individually. Try playing some of chopin's pieces without adjoining your notes. You'll need 7 fingers.

2: Its not cool or stupid. Its called emotion and its not only important for the audial portion of the song but also the visual. A hand doing absolutely nothing is not visually appealing.

3: Its a transcription. Learn your facts then go flame
