I have some cheap eBooks on eBay for only$0.50 an eBook!!!

And they come with resell rights. That means you can resell the eBook once you purchase it and get your money back. Just click on anyone of my videos and you'll find the link.

As a eBay seller myself some are good sellers and would go ahead and sell this item although they made a HUGE error, but if you notice the low number of sells that the first shown play station is only 9 sellers THE BAD ONES can actually retract the sell through eBay and the buyer just gets the money back. So this is a ok method but a good idea all the same :)

@legomate1 An auction on eBay is a legally binding agreement. They may back out, but you'll find that the more likely scenario is you'll pay them and they'll ship it to you thinking that it must not be worth much. You can pay them more if you'd like, but it's a good way to pick up super cheap items on ebay.

Even though this is legal and perfectly legit, something doesn't sit well with me. Say for example somebody for hardship reasons decides to sell their playstation. They don't want to but figured they need the $100 or so for other necessities. The person is inexperienced and makes the listing error. Now instead of the $100 they expected, they have to settle for $20. I am sticking to wholesale and liquidation. I don't want to bring on any bad karma that results from profiting off indirect victims.

winning an ebay auction is a legally binding agreement to sell. So, yes, the seller is legally obligated to sell. Usually the seller has no idea what the item is actually worth and they are happy to sell it for any price. It's a yard sale mentality.

Jim, doesnt E-Bay eliminate a lot of this by showing results of misspelled auctions the same way Google suggests correct spellings?

eBay does correct your spelling when you are SEARCHING eBay, but it DOES NOT correct the spelling of sellers when they put up a listing with a spelling error. Bottom line: listings with spelling errors in the main description area are seen far less than those with correct spelling... and there is nothing ebay can do about it.

Thanks for all of those 5 star ratings guys! Just to be clear...the above example as well as thousands of other "misspellings" are overlooked every day on eBay. The eBay search engine DOES find some of of them, but there are TONS that are missed (such as the example above that I found in 45 seconds).

Thank you for the video information. Of course I have done this myself, missspelt a word in my listing, couldn't figure out why the item was not reaching the expected level of bidding. I did learn a valuable lesson from this..so I am a bit in favour of telling a seller that there is a miss spelling in the auction, it is difficult enough to make a dollar for the mum and dad sellers out there..
