When you say patriotism isnt rational then you are saying the founders of this nation and many people throughout history are irrational. That I find quite offensive. Patriots dont worship their nation. Patriots and nationalists are often enemies actually.

A: As a 'liberal', I can promise you that there is no media outlet which follows my beliefs. There are problems with responsible reporting and sensationalism on all sides, particularly tv news. I like NPR because they provide in-depth coverage of issues and include people from a variety of viewpoints.
