  • Wrong. You need to talk about sex too. My advice, at least have a monthly 'state of our marriage' discussion with your spouse, and ask (perhaps, difficult) questions...the #1 (with followup) question: "Are you happy with our marriage? If not, how do you think we can improve on it?". This question will spare you alot of grief later down the line. Believe me.

  • Talking and doing things together, well doesn't look like my marriage will make it. My husband is completely clueless. He won't listen to anyone.

  • NOT INTERESTED IN HIS HOBBIES , THATS FAKE

  • poo poo poop poo poop

  • BS ... it is all about desire. Men want sex ... women money ... as long as the transaction is untethered marriage exists.

  • stating the obvious.

  • My grandparents celebrated their 50th anniversary last year!

  • Thank you so much for sharing your advice!

  • Congratulations!! Here are 3 couples that have sage advice for marriage longevity.

  • these couples r so cute =) good simple advice

  • Thank you so much

  • how terrific of these folks to share! much appreciated :)

  • I like my husband, before the engagement I found him as a person I was looking for, but it's been about 1 year that we are engaged but not married to live together yet, He is living with his family and I do the same till marriage. but after 1 year, I feel that he does exactly as his mother dictates to him, and this is miserable. during this year that he is living with his family, he has changed alot and I think I don't know him at all, I feel very lonely and don't know what to do. please help

  • my husband don't ever want to do anything or try new things. I'd advise him to but he hates using money. ...He loves sitting on the computer and plays games.. argh.. he's lazy....We don't communicate and when I try to, he said that we don't need to talk about anything. I'd heard that asking " How is your day?" to one another, it makes ur marriage better. WE don't even do that. We have a 6 m. old baby and will be married 2 years tomorrow. I feel like his mom.

  • Wise words from some good people.

    Some great advice

Worth a look even if you are already married...

  • aww, these couples are cute. Mom and Dad have been together over 30 years and they both get almost sick when the ohter is away on business. They have always been my marriage mentors.
