I don't have knowledge in aviation/RC aircraft, but I know you are enthusiasts. Do you think perhaps this could be used with your Phlatprinter to dimple your aircraft surfaces to change characteristics similar to how a golf ball's dimpling works? Just an idea.
That's a good idea, but I think it has been tested on cars by the myth busters in gas mileage. It did increase from from 26 to 29mpg but not enough to make much of a difference. However dimpled plane would look awesome! :D
