True Auburn fan here but that's not what's happening. He has his mouth piece in his left hand and the middle finger came out as he was flipping it. It was inadvertent; much the way Clapton sometimes shoots the bird when playing guitar. This play was in the 2nd quarter and into the South end zone. Most Auburn fans (Myself included) were in the East corner of the North end zone. He is actually pointing into the Bama student section nowhere near any large group of Auburn fans. True Auburn fan here but that's not what's happening. He has his mouth piece in his left hand and the middle finger came out as he was flipping it. It was inadvertent; much the way Clapton sometimes shoots the bird when playing guitar. This play was in the 2nd quarter and into the South end zone. Most Auburn fans (Myself included) were in the East corner of the North end zone. He is actually pointing into the Bama student section nowhere near any large group of Auburn fans. WAR DAMN EAGLE 28-27!

It seems obvious to me (and you) that he was dropping his mouth piece down into his hand after rotating his wrist..It's hard to grab the mouth piece when the only finger in the right location is your pointer, so you end up flexing the middle finger to pull the pointer down.

@AUMHSLHS i havent played college, but i did play high school, and anyone playing like he does would have been ejected pretty quickly. Time to time? You mean every time he stepped on the field? Saying he losing control to his emotion is no excuse. Football is a mental sport as much as physical. If you had played football, you probably would know that. So yes occasionally a player my get caught in the moment and go in helmet down, the difference is fairley always does and thats why he is dirty.
