he killed himself because he thought he was at the prime of his life, and satanists die with honor and not because of emotional feelings. his death wasn't really tragic because he wanted it to benefit himself and not out of despair. that pentagram on his face is really big though, he looked better without it or at least got a smaller one lol.
As I read in several places, maybe he planned to kill himself since getting out of the jail. The only reason for this tatoo I can think of, is to mark the place to shoot, but seriously, if he was into the occultism and these kind of stuff so much, maybe it was for a reason.
Anyway, too bad he killed himself... he was a really great musician.
I respect Jon's decision, I am just disappointed that there will never be any more Dissection albums, since I really like their (or should I say "his") music.
