Male, female, shouldn't matter. No one should be hitting anyone. And if you perpetuate violence, then you should expect a response and reaction that doesn't take your gender into account. Some women are physically bigger and stronger than men, and vice-versa. Having a certain organ between your legs does not exempt you from having to refrain from assaulting another person.

I'd defend myself against a woman the same as I would against a man. That is to say, if I could stop violence being committed against me without being violent, I'd do it. If I couldn't I would try the least violent means needed (for instance, get him or her in a chicken wing or something). This, as everything else, i would judge on a case-by-case basis.
If she just made one attack (one hit), it's different from several.
If her one attack drew blood or did notable damage, i would slap her hard across the face with an open palm (this is known as a move not intended to inflict injury, but massive pain. And almost always has that outcome).
If her one attack did little to no damage, i would walk away and stay away from her.
If multiple serious attacks, i would deffend myself seriously.
I wouldn't mind my girlfriend hitting me, at all. I'd think about how lucky I am to have a girlfriend PERIOD and try and think about what I did wrong and in the future refrain from doing that thing in order to minimize conflict.

@fidelbogen I completely agree with you about feminism, it is all about bringing men down to break down family structures , thus making women depend more on the government, thus increasing government revenues. Also because of feminism, women are now able to be taxed more easily thus also benefiting the government. And then of course, feminism has this underlining hatred towards men, and they don't even get criticized for being sexist towards men.

In third world countries men and women are still denied their basic human rights, but sadly women are usually the ones more repressed and abused. @ammarios Men on average are stronger then woman. I never yet came across a woman stronger then me and in the power lifting the woman in that sport can't lift that much more then me. At the same time i couldn't join a power lifting sport because im a guy and i would come in dead last. @ammarios As a generalization men tend to have stronger upper bodies, while women have stronger lower bodies. Again, this is a generalization and lifestyle plays a big impact on the various body strengths.
I will say that the hardest I've ever been hit was by a woman's punch. I've been hit by a guy over 220 lbs and it did not hurt nearly as much as a 140 lbs woman. Men and woman are equal is just about every avenue and should be treated as such.

I'd defend myself against a woman the same as I would against a man. That is to say, if I could stop violence being committed against me without being violent, I'd do it. If I couldn't I would try the least violent means needed (for instance, get him or her in a chicken wing or something). This, as everything else, i would judge on a case-by-case basis.
If she just made one attack (one hit), it's different from several.
If her one attack drew blood or did notable damage, i would slap her hard across the face with an open palm (this is known as a move not intended to inflict injury, but massive pain. And almost always has that outcome).
If her one attack did little to no damage, i would walk away and stay away from her.
If multiple serious attacks, i would deffend myself seriously.

@ammarios As a generalization men tend to have stronger upper bodies, while women have stronger lower bodies. Again, this is a generalization and lifestyle plays a big impact on the various body strengths.
I will say that the hardest I've ever been hit was by a woman's punch. I've been hit by a guy over 220 lbs and it did not hurt nearly as much as a 140 lbs woman. Men and woman are equal is just about every avenue and should be treated as such.
