@Wehategod they do have the R-26 redbird cars. They have the 2train like that. And tenically the R-30 the 1st one is a red bird by early 90s they were re-painted like the other red birds and put on the C line.
awesome subway setup dude! really cool man! love the legacy set! you have more than 1 layout or this is another place besides the one you always show us?
@Southerntreatment Thanks Man! This is the 2011 Pearl River Model Railroad Show's Toy Train/Subway layout. The show has 5 different layouts (Hi-Rail, Standard Gauge/Mountain, Toy Trian/Subway, S Gauge "Flyer," and the Stage.) I have taken a video of all of them with the exception of the Stage. The Hi Rail is used at every one of our shows. The others are build for the shows, then torn down.
Looks like your having trouble opening the doors of the locomotive or at least one of the sets of doors. I have the same problem with my R27 set. Huge disappointment.
@bostonelevated Actually, the owner of this set turned off the opening door function to the lead unit. The doors open, but there is nothing to show inside lol! Good luck with your set though!

Very Nice I wish they put them in the Red Bird Colors though

@Wehategod Thanks! The Red Bird were different cars (3 doors on each side.) It would be really neat if Lionel made the Red Birds!

@BonesCentralRR Well before the R-30's were retired in 93 they had the Red Bird Paint Scheme.

I personally like the MTH Chicago cars. I grew up riding them and lived right next to one of the lines.

@Trainbrain1949 The Chicago cars are pretty neat. The gentleman who owns these has a bunch of other NY Subways a well.
