I think Hyoujungo is very monotone and those are no intonation.she is Right that chawoshibaku is OSAKA dialect but it's not used among middle-young age.僕も4月から兵庫県民に戻ります(^-^)v
Fun video but we need to see some more of that food. Looked so oishi! Hope we get more of these outside type vids. Maybe you can do like Findmeinkurume and wander drunkenly about while videoing stuff. LOL
@perdomot Yeah, I'm never going to run around drunk and film it, though it may be amusing to watch :) Don't get your hopes up! And I'll try to film more "outside" types of videos, but due to work (and everyone I know is either in college or working) I can only really do things like that on the weekends. And that's just an if. And I will only film things that I feel comfortable filming (and the people I am filming feel comfortable about it). So, you may have to wait for the videos you desire! :)
Looks like you all had a wonderful time. I love Izakaya's, went to a lot when I was in Okinawa and they have very yummy food in them all. American candy is very sweet, so much more sweeter than Japanese candy and that's why I like the Asian candy more and don't mind my grandchildren eating it. I'm always at the Asian market here stocking up. Wish the cars here had that ding ding sound when you back up like the ones there so miss that and the noise from the traffic lights.
@Queenbooker I just love candy!! :D I love American and Japanese candy, but I think that Japanese candy is much more... real. Like, they seem to use more real sugar than high fructose corn syrup, which is definitely healthier!! And Japanese candy has an artistic element to it that I think a lot of American candy lacks. I agree that Japanese candy is better for your grandkids! :D And they probably won't go on a crazy sugar high after eating it! Thanks for watching! :D
@kellyduffy7567 The food was awesome!! :D It was all chicken at that restaurant! Just my type of place! It was so awesome seeing everyone again! :) I'd like to meet with them again sometime soon!! :D Love you, too!
Sorry for the horrible code switching haha. Your friends seem like a great group! and yes Nao is hot and as my friend said... all the good ones are taken ^^;;
Yes I love kansai and kansai ben so a video about it would be great!
@oneokusagi lol Yeah, all the good ones are totally taken, unfortunately! :D You'll have to wait until I collect a few more things about Kansai-ben, though :) I have about 5 new things but I wanna wait until I have closer to ten to make a video :) Thanks for watching! :D
@lissheim Haha, hot may be an understatement :P But not only is Nao a little shorter than me, but he's a married man!! :( He's such awesome eye candy, though! Thank god, I'm friends with him ;) Thanks for watching! :D
Oh Japanese and their engrish. I too lobu uhmerica. When we all (friends J and A alike) would go out an eat together would teach each other words both Japanese and English.
We ended up teaching one of them the meaning of the word "hood". Needless to say many things were described as "hood" all day. xD
@PiercingTheSky lol Yeah, I love them so much more for their Engrish :P So cute!! :D It must've been fun teaching them the word "hood"!! :D I taught them the proper uses of the f-word last night, which was really funny in combination with their Engrish :P They had no idea of the real meaning of the word! They just thought it sounded cool lol
@Oldenyouth I do have one video about Kansai-ben that I made when I was still in America and I'm planning on making another video with more Kansai-ben! I only have 5 new words/grammar concepts so far, though, so I'm waiting until I have a few more :) Great suggestion, though!! :D
Lauren, the dude on your left is friggin' damnnn....he's hot :P ...but anyway, Osaka Ben sounds fun. I wanna learn one day! And those chciken skin yakitoris are delicious :P ~ OLDY.
@Oldenyouth Yeah, Nao is incredibly hot!! I work with him, actually lol But he's married!!! :( So, he's just very, very nice eye candy and my friend, I guess :P
Osaka-ben is fun!! :D It's sorta the language of Japanese comedians. Many famous ones are from Osaka, apparently! It's different than standard Japanese, though, and is often difficult to understand!
@LaurenNIHON WTF?! he's married? NoooOOoooOO (Darth Vader accent). Man...he's sure an eye-candy. WHat kind of jod does he do? Future vid suggestion no. 2 = Footage of Cute Japanese Young Men hahah. Yeah, looking forward to your future Kansai ben tutorials. As Tsoukalos would say...."the language was creaaaated by flesh and blood...extraterrestrials." Thus spoketh Olden von Daaniken.
@Oldenyouth Yeah, he got married recently, I think :) He told me recently, but everyone at the party was surprised by it lol He's an English teacher at the school I'm an ALT at. It was complete coincidence that we knew each other from before!! And I wish I could make a video of cute Japanese guys, but it's a little awkward just randomly filming people like that :P
