  • its revealed that crescent and star was infact symbols of Turkic shamanism once; Tengrism.

you can check it, you will find reliable sources.

  • Very interesting, a couple of weeks ago a youtuber was asking a pastor why he does not have a cross on the wall of his church. I tried to tell him that it was not important we must focus on YESHUA and he told me that i was blaspheming the blood sacrifice. He completely misunderstood what i meant.

  • Yea, traditions are hard for people to get past sometimes. Some people associate that if you don't have a cross, you don't believe in Yeshua. But we know that we worship Him in spirit and in truth and we don't need images to worship Him.

  • the crescent & star was first used by the othman empire, it never came with Islam.

& the crescent is not a symbol of what we worship, it's a symbol of Ramadan, & Ramadan is not a person or a statue, it's simply a month, a period of time regarding cetain practice !

but excuse me ! when u ask people to believe in Yehoshua (Jesus) peace be upon him, isn't that idolatry ? God says in the 2nd commandment you shouldn't take for yourself an idol !!

  • BiblicalPeaceandLove,

So....you put the crescent moon on your mosks why?

I know what Ramadan is. I was in Egypt during that time and had a hard time buying things during the day. Thank God for the juice stand guy who was open and the bread guy.

No, Yeshua is God. He is God manifested in the flesh.

It says you are not to 'make for yourselves' any idols. Meaning don't carve an idol and worship it. It also says not to worship things in heaven and on earth. Including kissing a black stone (Kaaba).

  • There's no such thing as manefested in flesh !

u make it hard to swallow when u tell me that God is as weak as to eat & need bathroom.

that's #1, #2 being the fact that Yeshua was praying to God, so; no ! he's not God. he can't pray to himself & say "why have u forsaken me", by worshipping him instead of YHWH you're actually "making" for yourself an idol (who said "making" should only mean "carving")

Yeshua is a human, born to a human & will die a human. he never claimed to be God.

  • No. John 1 says that the word (who is Yeshua) was made flesh and dwelt among us.

God became flesh as one of us and endured the weakness of flesh to show us how to live and save us from our sins.

He prayed to God the Father. He also forgave sins which only God can do. YHWH is a family name, like my Father and I both have the same last name. I didn't make God, He is the ETERNAL and they always existed as one in unity. "Let US make man in OUR image"

  • We are in God's image, so Yeshua coming as a man and rising again from the dead shouldn't surprise us that He is God. Only God can forgive sins, and He forgave sins.

  • You need Revelation R-E-V-E-L-A-T-I-O-N and Revelation comes from THE LORD JESUS CHRIST REVELATION MEANS FAITH ON THE SON OF GOD THE CROSS IS A SYMBOL USED BY CATHOLIC BUT THE WAY I SEE IT , ITS SO DIFFERENT. THE GLORY AND EARTH GATHER TOGETHER WHEN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DIED IN THAT DAY AND AS HE DIE I MUST DIE SO I CAN BORN AGAIN AN SO WHEN I SEE THE CROSS I SEE WHAT HE DID FOR ME GOD BLESS YOU

  • I'm glad it's a good reminder for you. He did that for us to show His love for us. Just remember not to worship the cross itself, but to look past it to the author and finisher of our faith, Jesus/Yeshua

  • However the fish - represents ICTHUS which in greek translates as Jesus Christ God's Son Saviour = fish a secret symbol (esoteric)?

  • Maybe at some point that is why the fish was used as a symbol for believers in Jesus Christ. But I don't see it in the Bible so why do it.

  • Jaw drops to floor loudly :o I am left stunned by this video.

  • All three of these symbols are evil even when you attach your own faith to them the cross is a t for tamus the star is the star of molech used for cabala and the cresent is for worship of the moon god wich is lucifer why doesn't some one take the nazi symbol and put a holy faith meanind to it it would be the samee thing

    ALL ARE EVIL

  • Celtic trance is so nice!

  • Ark of Covenant had two Cherubim images. Temple had two sculptures of bulls holding up the great water basin. Cherubim decorated the curtain that seperated Holy from Most Holy.

Is this like Judaism forbidding burial in a Jewish cemetary if you have at tatoo but requiring genital mutilation of all males? Either a type of symbol is forbidden or it is not. I've never understood this dual personality of Judaism and Christianity

  • Yes, God allowed some images for the temple. But the key is that images are not to be used as worship objects. Many people use the cross, star of David, and crescent moon as worship objects

  • The name Allah is also the name of the moon god. Just saying. Christ is the only way.

  • so true

    all glory to CHRIST

  • the cross=1+2+3+4=10=1+0=1 the crescent moon and the star=phillip alexanders father attacked byzantium at night their was a moon that night which gave light to the byzantine greeks which gave them victory to honour selini + artemis they printed coins with the crescent moon and star and made a flag that was one of the flags of byzantium which later islam stole. the cross= dionysos zagreas=tetractus=cross 3+3+3+3=12 12 times 3=36=3+6=9=9+1=10=1+0=1 this what the orthodox cross means star of david?

  • It is all pagen symbol, and in catholic belief having crusifix's everywhere is almost a mockery of Christ. I fear it is a representation of their beliefs with a dead christ hanging on there symbols....anyways...for all that know what it is...but for those who truely believe its a symbol of salvation...maybe its time we hit the streets...and try to spread the truth alittle harder, times are coming to an end...but yet...I have found we cannot force our belief upon them.

  • IT DOESN'T MATTER, the symbols have lost their pagan meaning &taken or given a whole different meaning by the people that have put faith onto them. It's not like Jews-Christians-Muslims secretly are Pagan or hypocrites. They are not worshiping the symbols but what they mean to them. To be positive, whatever unifies and helps people identify themselves with, is evolutionary and not necessarily negative. Nice try though I'm sure there can be pagan origins to just about anything in our modern lives.

  • lost their pagan meaning? What if God doesn't think that way? Why did He say that Israel had accepted the star of Remphan?

I never said they are pagan, I myself am of a Christian background.

If the Bible sanctifies it, then we can use it. If the Bible says worship Him in spirit and in truth, and to watch out for making images to represent Him, then I want to obey His word as best as possible.

  • good video SOY, you made a good point about the nails. I think to further investigate whether it was a cross or stake we should reaserch on which of the methods somone would die quicker. I think that on a stake with arms stretched above head it makes it harder to breathe and that's why it only took a few hours for Jesus to die.

  • Either way it would have been hard to breath. With the cross and arms outstretched they would make the shoulders out of socket and make it so you could only breath by lifting up on the nail that your feet were nailed with.

It's possible that both methods were used at that time. I believe it was a cross.

  • modern historians believe the Romans used a crossbar but that the bar was on top of the post so it would have looked like the letter t.

it made it easier to put a victim on it and remove them later with only a crew of 3 people to load and unload the cross.

  • The Romans used several different ways of doing it. A cross bar with a T would leave little room to put a sign above His head saying "King of the Jews"

  • It is only natural that religions which are pagan in origin would use pagan symbols

Anyway notice the video mentioned ancient relics from Egypt are displayed at a museum in Britain. Isnt it just like the British to steal other peoples heritage and display it in their museums, thieving conniving trolls that they are. lol

  • twio8,

The religion of the Bible, with Yeshua as Saviour, is not pagan. But the things of the world have influenced many professors of religion, and even some sincere people who don't know any better, over time.

  • Amen, seekerofyhwh. I as a Novice Literature Scholar traced them back using scripture alone to Baal worship and that to the effect of such.

  • seekerofyhwh is awesome, thank you for all the work

  • The Israelites have used the Star of David for at least 2500 years. The Lemba in South Africa, who have exiled for 25 centuries, make this symbol on grave.

And there is no archeological support the star mentioned by Amos is exactly the Star of David.

  • According to Wikipedia, it says the seal of Solomon, which is where the Star of David custom comes from, was a Hexagram. Some say it was a Pentagram. Either way, they are both used in the occult. What is the biblical significance of using a star as Israel's symbol? None that I know of. I can see a menorah, or a burning bush (which one thing I read said that used to be their symbol), as Israel's symbol. But what does a star mean?

  • The star is not significant. I myself as knowing Israel as the love of my life drive the knife into me when I see their idolatry.

  • idolatry making and ark of the covenant with angels and the temple of solomon with angels ox and lion .... think about it ???

  • justcoolforyou,

Those images were commanded by God to be made, b/c they were an earthly representation of the heavenly tabernacle/temple. So they represented the angels, Seraphim, etc. that are around the throne of God.

  • i got a tattoo of an ankh on my back before i was saved, i cant afford to have it removed?? what of this??

  • Pray that you get the money to have it removed, or pray that it disappears supernaturally. I've heard of that happening.

  • don't worry about it.

  • tatttoo over it! turn it into a flower.

then again, why not have it there, to remind you of who you were??

i have a friend who i thought was absolutely the most perfect guy, never drank or did drugs or anything. all that time, i thought he was better than everyone. then one day, he lifted the cuff of his sleeve and there was a metallica tatoo it made me feel better, like he was not so perfect. i love when folks have reminders of the old life on them, it shows me how far they've come.

  • Orbital there is a Balm Cream that will fade it out. I hope this helps and it is cheaper than surgery. :)

  • Great video. Good Job.

    Yes, John 20:25, good point.

    Yahweh bless.

  • I wonder how to explain this to well meaning people who really are only trying to show reverance in their acts. I don't want to seem like I"m condeming them. I'm as guilty as any of symbolism usage.

  • I would just ask them if they know where their symbols come from? Challenge them to look into the origins of these things.

  • I think I will....thanks for the video I shared it on myspace.

  • i have a jewish star around my neck.

    it makes me feel good.

    but i don't worshif it?

  • I for a long time defended the star of David, then earlier this year I was challenged to look into it's history. When I found that it didn't come from the Bible, but from other, pagan sources, I refrain from it. I know you don't worship it, but like it says in the Bible (Acts/Amos) that Israel accepted the star of Remphan their god, it would be best to not wear that. He confirmed to me about this subject earlier this year.

  • i get little messages from god too.

i don't mean voices or visions.

but god stirred my heart to question the rapture and sure enough it's not for a long time! trib time. my friends are so desperate to believe in it.

  • the story about the fish on the doors is true, Iscthus (I think from top of my head) is Greek for fish and Is=Jesus cthus= sun of God, therefore the fish symbol was used to identify Christian homes.

we use countless pagan symbols; the wedding ring; the wedding veil; to abstain from them all, we would need to research everything we touch. it is what they mean to us today that matters.

we dont need the symbols but rather we chose to use them to sygnify what we believe to others :-)

  • I see what you're saying. Yes, almost everything could have a pagan connection if you researched. The things we are to stay away from are pagan worship practices done to other gods.

And graven images/symbols in the heaven above, or earth beneath etc. in a worship setting. To declare our faith to others, if you want to use a more scriptural symbol of Israel, the menorah is one scriptural symbol for Israel.

  • Yeh it sadly enough true that although there is the invisible God who is closer to us than anybody else people believe they need symbols and images.

It´s a shame and a huge sin. May the Lord guide us all to his light Amein.

  • Excellent video, appreciate your time you spent for research.

  • Actually A very good video. Though if you study out the fish symbol you will find it was a secret symbol to let other christians know where to worship in another house back when it was criminal to be christian. And the symbol is not drom dagon as you assert but rather it was adopted because in Coine' Greek Jesus' initials when put together spelled FISH. TRUE STORY!

  • I looked up in the Bible dictionary under Dagon, and he was the fish god mentioned in the Bible. I haven't heard about the story on using that as a secret symbol to know where to worship, that is possible. But the bottom line is that today, we don't need to use this to show we are a 'Christian' with a fish symbol on our car. It's another religious symbol we don't need. Shalom.

  • what about fishers of men?

  • Yes, we are fishers of men. But we don't need a symbol to show that.
