  • All the ammo was used up in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Damn. What' I'd give to fire one of those SAWs. I liked blasting away with that thing on the video game America's Army. When it first came out a decade ago. I gave up playing online after seeing solders floating in the air. Damn hackers. Was hilarious seeing that though, for a game that was based solely for realism. L☺L

  • @viggoM35

Yea...SAWs are cool but the .50 Cal kicks ass...or even the AT4

  • Haha, if I was that last guy I would have been a little hesitant. Right when you stand up, those people in the back start shooting for real.

  • they belong on the short bus not the military LOL!!

  • @JizzMilk they can't do a live fire with someone in front of the safety line... so make them make sound effects haha. They do it for their own entertainment.

  • hahahaha this is fucking hilarious, i think the gunny was just making fun of them and making them embarrassed, if you take this seriously, ya need to get your head out of your ass. btw at the end they all started firing real ammo.

  • no wonder we havw so many casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan

  • @zulubro you mean right around 1700 in a ten year war? i'd say we're doing pretty fucking good.

  • @kingmigget if i used ur math i'd probably feel the same way, BUT with over 6000 (don't know where u got 1700 from) casualties to date against raggedy bands of rebels using little more than hand-held weaponry against the most technologically advanced AND the second largest military in the world--i find it appalling

  • how in the world can they take this seriously? they don't train with real amo?

  • @wadyano Yes, of course we do, but first there's a few dry fire drills.

  • @abidalihyder that boomboomboom thing was funny though, didn't you feel a bit silly? anyway thanks for serving you guys are my heroes always,

  • I'm quite upset at this video because right next to the word "Gunny" is the word "Funny" and I watched the entire video and did not encounter the funny part! Fail.

  • I think only people who lived it laugh at it! Funking hilarious!

  • @bingoe4 that's so true. presspress, press (failure drill). 0:41 is the funniest part tho. notice how everyone stops making noises when gunny says "well, hello" so they can hear what he is saying then when they figure out he's not yelling at them they start shooting again

  • ba ba ba ba budget cut??

  • @discofishing can you say lets not shoot the other recruts dumbass

  • Soldier: What should I do if I run out of ammo?

Sargent: it just wont work but in any case, yell bang bang bang

  • During Marine boot camp, every Marine is trained to, upon running out of amunition, to yell "BANG" at such volume that it makes the enemy's eardrums explode, thus rendering them combat innefective.

Any Marine unable to yell "BANG" at a volume of at least 1000 decibells is immediately transferred into the Army and given a desk job or is sent to prison depending on the sireousness of his failure.

  • @SgtShnackendale oh rah

  • @SgtShnackendale hahahaha lmfao actually laughed out loud when i read that.

  • blam blam blam...IM NOT DEFECTIVE

  • taka taka taka taka taka taka taka

  • Tank-Tank-Tank-Tank-Tank-Tank

  • "Get your fucking ass up there!!!" Hahaha

  • @kicknbazz1615 "Well hello there sweet pea, how bout you GET YOUR FUCKING ASS UP THERE!!" hahaha

  • ima be a marine when im 19 next years, wish me luck!

  • That's some mighty fine cover fire gunny, oooooraaaahhh !

  • MGySgt Masters lol he hasnt changed a bit.

  • ''Dun dun dun dun dun!''

    Words can hurt too..

  • how is that funny again?

  • I much preferred buddabuddabuddabudda.. for the 240g or chugchugchugchugchug for the 50cal. it kept my voice box from jamming. semper fi. also.... t is very hard not to laugh while doing a non-fire fire and maneuver

  • I read something that stated "All marines are riflemen". So did these guys volunteer or were they just selected?

  • @Happa90 volunteer for what? To be a SAW gunner? I wasn't an 0311 (infantry) but what I think you're asking is do you have to volunteer to be in the infantry. Most Marines that are infantry signed up to be in the infantry before they even arrived at bootcamp at the recruiting office. If a Marine fulfills so many years (I think its three) they can make a latteral move (change "jobs") to the infantry if it is approved by their Commanding Officer (sometimes its difficult or not possible).

  • @waynerd23 I know all our armed forces are all volunteers. What I tried to say was do marine machine gunners get chosen randomly or do they volunteer?

  • @Happa90 I don't know for sure... it may depend on the unit, they may cross-train with a couple different positions, and a SAW gunner probably should have enough muscle to carry the damn thing around all day. When I was a Marksmanship Instructor the Recon used to come out with foreign weapons and train but I don't know for sure about the basic infantry. Sorry

  • @Happa90 no they volunteered to become infantry marines

  • what if one of them had a cough, "bangbangCOUGHbangcangCOUGH

  • When the student is ready, the master appears.

  • babababbabababa baaaaabb bang bang bang ba ba baabababa aba aabaa a

    did we get him

  • hahahahaaa! so funny!

Hard to become a war hero... XD

  • @hnt456 lol that guy would have found his di's boot up his ass

  • someone should have said "O CRAP MY VOICE IS JAMMED!"

  • @hnt456 the DI wuda prob made em do a shit load of pushups

  • @hnt456 hahaha yeah just take the 200 push -ups for the team, and fuck up the drill

  • @hnt456 SIR, mi voice is jammed, SIR.

    - Well how about I SHOVE MY DICK DOWN YOUR THROAT TO FIX IT!!!!!

  • @MyAlbert1986 You must have these guys mixed up with SAILORS with that "dick down your throat" stuff. No, these guys are Marines.

  • @MyAlbert1986 who told u that joke your mom?

  • @hnt456 That comment made my day....I wonder how the cadre would react

  • I fail to see anything funny?

  • Why don't they just use blank firing adapters?

  • @MedicmanFP Even if they use adapters, they still use ammo: blank ammo. They still cost money and are actually unnecessary for the purpose of this type of training. It isn't to fire rounds. It's to understand the tactic being taught to them. "Bangbangbang" serves the purpose well enough.

  • All 25 dislikes mean NOTHING. You bitches just don't know.

  • peanut butter jam, peanut butter jam, peanut butter jam with a bam bam bam

  • Wait, what did Gunny say? "Well, Hello sweet fuckin... ???" whatever it was, I'm glad I wasn't standing at attention when I heard that hahaha

  • @JackShirleyComedy Hello sweet fuckin Pea!

  • Brings back memories of being a kid and doing similar things.

  • soi

  • Butter Butter Jam

    Butter Butter Jam

  • Butter Butter Jam

    butter Butter Jam

  • This SAW team is looking miserable

  • This is so hilarious. Damn. lol poor guys

  • Is this A co 1/25 and when was this video shot?

  • @devil03dawg41 No, this was 3/8 Wpn Co. training in both lethal and nonlethal training for all the new guys that came in.

  • @TheRossBeast "My voice is jammed sir!" "well lemme help you clean it out!" *gets kicked in the mouth*

  • brrr...brrrr.. xD

  • cough cough, MISS FIRE MISS FIRE

  • Ba ba ba ba baaang

    bayayyayayayaang

    b bb b b beng b

    blblblblblbllblblbeng

    FUCK !!

    THIS IS BRATATATATATATTA!!!!

  • How come some are still wearing the woodland cammies and the others are wearing MARPAT?

  • @0HSTyler probably because this was filmed roughly between the years of 2002-2004, the MARPAT digital cammies were just being introduced to the Corps, however the old cammies were still authorized at the time, so what you often saw was that older Marines wore thier old cammies to the field, because they were broken in and it wasn't a big deal if they got beat up, but the younger Marines were issued the new digis in basic and thats all they had so they had to wear them even in the field.

  • mother fuckin Gunny Masters...."hey crazzzzy"

  • i dont understand what he has them doing looks like another worthless training op lol

  • @cminksful It´s an advancment training. Goes like this. Line lays down fire, one guy advances and establishes where the next line will be, then goes to ground and starts firing. Then the next guy in the rear line moves up, then the next, and so on untill the rear line is empty, and everyone is at the forward line. Then it starts all over again, if needed.

  • @BigSwede7403 yea i know man i was a saw gunner while i was in the marines i was meaning your never gonna have a squad full of saw gunners combat rushing every where together it just seemed like one of those training exercises that are a waste of time

  • @cminksful Possibly new gunners so they took all the gunners of that group and had them get used to handling and moving with the heavier weapon that the standard rifle? Or could be someone messed up and now they got to do that for a few hours as "motivational excersise". :)

  • @BigSwede7403 yea thats true they could be new or your right it could be motivational exercise lol

  • fucking funny

  • BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!

  • That is their rifles there are many like them but those ones are their's

  • @POBulkhead Their days of fingerbanging ol mary jane rottencrotch thru her frilly pink panties are OVER. thus sayeth the DI

  • these boots rush like old ppl fuck

  • Lol, I love how all the soldiers in the back stop and look when he starts yelling haha

  • Must've been hard to keep a straight face during that drill!

  • Reloading! *drinks water*

  • this is what the Marine Corps considers "lays into"???

  • Man I hated making the 'bang bang' noise during training!

  • One Thousand One....

    One Thousand Two.....

    One Thousand Three.....

.....Well hello sweet fucking Pete how bout getting your FUCKING ASS OUT THERE?!?!? MOVE, GO! GET THE FUCK OUT THERE!!!!!

  • babababa bang

  • I guess the Marines ran out of funding for ammo.

  • i love how their rounds make different sounds XD , and the mockery at the end XD lol those other guys firing off their m4's XD

  • I love how they start laughing

  • thats how a Gunny asks politely ".... how about get your fucking ass out there go go GO!!!"

  • Pew pew pew. Pew pew pew.

  • LOL, I love doing crap like this.. except... we have new camies and when the hell does the gunny "lay" into someone???

  • @USMCRazorbacks yeah the gunny never goes off...and you can tell this was around 03 cause the one Marine is wearin digis

  • it used to be butter butter jam butter butter jam

  • @midnitegun And would what is called "irony", thus producing what's known as the "joke" portion of my post.

  • XDDDDDDDD

  • Any time you're training with a new or unfamiliar weapon or tactic, you train WITHOUT live ammo FIRST. This is done for three reasons.

One, safety. As uncoordinated and oblivious as these Marines were in this very simple drill, they very easily could've shot someone else or themselves.

Two, logistics. Firing live ammo requires a hot range, whereas dummy drills like this can be done virtually anywhere.

Three, economy. Live ammo costs money. "Bangbangbang" does not.

    It's that simple.

  • @Ovrkyl You hit it spot on.

  • @Ovrkyl helluva way to break it down BARNEY STYLE!

but if they'd wanted to go all high-tech and super moto they coulda been saying "run fuzzy bunny run!"... but that might have cost more money...

  • @Ovrkyl Agreed. M249 uses 5.56 Nato I believe. that is NOT a cheap ammunition so then making, "blam, blam, blam" noises is more economic.

  • @Ovrkyl lol just seemed so unnecessary to say "bang bang bang " to me.

  • @gtrmaster2000 Think about if one of those guys is forgetful or absentminded enough to get up and run while still saying "bangbangbang". That would mean he's still firing while his weapon is pointed who-knows-where and while he's running forward...possibly getting someone "killed". For training purposes, it's equal to his finger on the trigger where it's NOT supposed to be. If he'd been firing live, he'd make a major, costly, and deadly mistake. It's about conscious weapon control.

  • @Ovrkyl i give the guys a little bit more credit then that.. if you forget when your sides firing you shouldn't be there period. imo

  • @Ovrkyl Plus the Bang Bang Bang is some of the latest technology that our great military has spent billions developing the most effective way to shout bang. After years of testing and billions spent they learned that when shouted from the diaphragm it will give the soldier the most effective and realistic training our great government can provide.

  • @iamzergling Believe it or not, yes, you are trained how to "sound off like you got a pair" in boot...though I don't think we spent billions in researching that. :-P

  • They are learning how to fire and maneuver as a team. Until it is perfected, it would be extremely dangerous to use live rounds. If a guy stumbles while running forward, he would be shot. Or the guy behind them sneezes and rakes the front guys with automatic rifle fire. This isn't a game. People die from mistakes like that when using live rounds.

And if you had ever actually fired a rifle, you'd know they aren't using blanks because they wouldn't be able to hear a word the Gunny was saying.

  • Back in my day, we didn't train with these fancy new-fangled unvisible bullets. Hell, we shot rockets only inches above our heads during training! And you weren't allowed to die! If you died you were immediately dispatched and sent home!

  • lolz.

  • @GIDAN2987

Sloppy seconds? lol The Marines get quite enough on their own. Besides the Seals the Navy is just the Marines Taxi service. That's where squids should stay, in the rear with the gear! I wouldn't want some piss ant sailor covering my ass. I'd feel much safer with him on a ship many, many miles out at sea, where he can't fuck anything up.

  • @Tr3v3336,

You realize that the Marine Corps is a department of the Navy correct? Being in a network with 4 ACTIVE DUTY SEALs and more than 20 Retired/Former SEALs, I can tell you that most of those guys are more decorated than most Marines... Ever heard of Operation Red Wings? Yeah, I know TWO GUYS from the Rescue Team. Seriously get out and stop bashing Tier 1 and Tier 2 Operating Forces for a pussy ass Tier 4 team...

  • @crpearsonjr Uh did you read my comment? I said BESIDES the SEALs. Meaning that they are really the only part of the Navy that does stuff. I have a huge respect for the teams. My buddy is actually going to BUDs and my other friend is trying to get into EOD. I just think that as far as the basic sailor vs the basic Marine, the Marine is better trained. When you look at Spec Ops though no one compares to SEALs. MARSOC is pretty close, and thats what im hoping to get a chance to try out for.

  • @Tr3v3336

Sorry, when I first looked at the comment I read it with a comma after besides. I took it out of context. Get it done brother.

  • @crpearsonjr for sure man. And i will. Already working at it.

  • @crpearsonjr Wow... comparing SEALS to Marines... what a badass... and, btw. You are getting butt hurt over this, where in which you are neither a SEAL NOR a Marine... so why don't you put up or shut up before you shit talk anyone for what "level" they are... considering you are still POG

  • @xwar I wasn't the one who compared them. You are a fucking idiot. I didn't shit talk Marines, I just said they aren't as high as the SEALs. Get your shit straight.

  • @xwar Also, your fucking fake-ass didn't even spell right. POG is spelled Pogue, you fucking idiot.

  • @crpearsonjr no it's POG, An acronym.

  • @nyquildays

    Negative.

    en.wikipedia(dot)org/wiki/Pogue

  • Comment removed

  • @nyquildays Are you kidding me? I already knew what it meant, I just didn't feel like typing it out... So I searched it on google and found the first article of that destination, copied and pasted it into the comment... God damn... Fucking kids..

  • @crpearsonjr I call it POG for "pretty ordinary guy" and sorry not a fake... but I hear those that try to discredit the service of others are usually the fakes...

  • @crpearsonjr It is POG, that is what they use. You can use either POG or Pogue.

  • WTF LOL this is funny

  • one guy...

i would never be able to take serious again!

  • budabuda jam, budabuda jam...budabada budget cut!

  • Can I not watch a video of the military without having to read comments about a war. Why not comment about the VIDEO. T

  • @GIDAN2987 Hahahah, thats a good one..

  • @GIDAN2987 Why would you feel sorry for them? They are doing just fine in the DON. Besides, what else would I tell all the marines I work with other than"stay navy." LoL

  • in the dutch army they yell peanut

  • I just find it funny when the gunny was saying "Well, hello sweet fuckin' pea...etc" that it went all quiet....

  • new non lethal bullets baby!

  • budda budda budda yam, budda budda budda yam, budda budda budda, parkay?

  • well hello sweet fucking pea AHAHAHA gunnies are the best

  • This part of training teaches you what to do if your platoon run out of ammo. They can hold back the enemy for days with this technique or until the enemy run out of ammo. We just hope the enemy don't know about the secret or we can be pinned down for a long time.

  • OH SHIT... GUUNNNNYYYY, MINE WAS LOADED!!!

  • @TheRossBeast lol

  • @TheRossBeast lol

  • Is this from 8 years ago?

  • @360Nomad BDU's so i guess so

  • they werent shooting real bullets at first because in the nature of the exercise, people would be to close to the line of fire to use real bullets

  • Most bullets are super sonic, some specialized rounds are sub sonic however.

  • those are new more sullets super sonic in bullets cant be seen by human eyes

  • @alpergumussu i mean bullets ofcourse

  • very intense!

  • BBBBBANG, BBBBCLICK. JAM!

  • @Ranger4321 NO MORE AMMO SIR!

  • hahaha, butta butta jam!!! I remember those days, lol.

  • @BADAMS1005 same hear but its more fun watching them do it

  • ahhhh the good ole days.

  • lmao "BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG"

Marine: Shit I need to reload! "RELOADRELOADRELOADRELOAD"

  • "BANGBANGBANGBANGBANGBANG!!"

And this is what happens when we cut civilian funding...

  • "well hello sweet FCKING HEART! HOW BOUT U Get UR AZZ UP THERE?!"

    haha :D

  • "lolololololol" they should have said that instead

  • howcome some marines are wearing marpat and others arent?

  • @airsoftmeister94 this was during the transformation between uniforms. The marpat was isssue for new Marines getting out of bootcamp, the rest of us had to wait until the new uniforms were being sold at the PX

  • This cracks me up!

  • its a practice drill.

  • Oh my Goodness, that has to be GySgt Masters if I'm not mistaken. He was a Sgt Instructor at OCS, he hasn't changed one bit. 0.43 sec. hello sweet fuckin pea!

  • Oh that takes me back. They have to shout their gunshot noises because it`s not a live fire range. In Meaford `05 with the CF we had to do the same thing. They wouldn`t have had troops in the foreground at all, let alone even off to the sides if it was live fire. It`s kind of funny to someone who`s never done it but it does get the vocal chords nice and limber when behind the weapon...which is 100% necessary when in battle

  • and there`d be exponentially more spent if an army (Or marine corp) used blanks for EVERY drill excersize. Also, vocalizing your shots gives a little levity during drill which could let instructors push their troops that much harder during an excersize which drives the lesson in even more, creating less mistakes the next time.

  • bang bang bang bang ba-cnk! (dry fire dry fire) "OH SHIT! MY GUN'S JAMMED!" i would have totally said that if i was in that group

  • those sound deadly

  • i used to play this game in 1st grade

  • They're just saving their rounds for when they get to Iraq.

  • @MrCward3 bs this is a pratice drill fuckface, you dont use live rounds until you practice it perfect first.

  • good ole Gieger.

  • yeh um they do this because u need to practice with mental then on other excersises they use blank rounds

  • xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • BANG BANG BANG!! LMAO

  • no retards......the military does this kind of stuff all the time......firing live rounds is not the point of this exercise

  • So that is how they got the money for Americas Army 3...
