Yes, Generations looks impressive, of course. But I'm more interested in how, at numerous points throughout, it acts secondarily as a commentary on notable points of the franchise's entire 20-year timeline. Kinda neat to sample Sega's views---criticism included---on some of its own exploits, reflected in the dialogue and attitudes of Generations's cast.

Sonic Unleashed had great day time stages but boring night time stages (although I really enjoyed the boss battles)

Sonic Colors was awesome

Dude. DX WAS Sonic Adventure 1. Exept there was a few new things and you could play as Metal Sonic but overall the SAME GAME. And Speed Highway is the only level from Adventure in Generations. Well the console/PC version anyway. There was a different one on 3DS.

Thank GOD SEGA is making a comeback. Aside from Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) (note: not a terrible game but there are some controlling issues and there is no beastality, so shut up about that. Beastality is something completely the opposite side of the spectrum of what happened) Sonic Unleashed (especialy for PS2 and Wii) wasn't a great game, but with Sonic Colors and this, now SEGA is getting somewhere. Let's hope they keep this up!
