Pilots.....Too much free time.......I worked on the Vance ships for many years....My father was an IP at Vance in the 60's and he also worked on the planes in the base instrument shop after retiring from the Air Force...We worked in the same instrument shop for many years....

Someday when you grow old, pass War College, and then put on O-6 you too can wear white socks. You simply send the DP/AFPC an e-Mail demanding that 36-2903 be changed to allow "only 0-6s" (just within AETC) the "option" of wearing white socks. Now see how easy that was?

One of the many benefits of an O-6 wearing white socks is that you know who to blow while under the briefing room table. "It's that or a Night Check Ride!"
