  • regret of my life for buying this.

  • can this chamber be used with an oxygen concentrator?

if so does it need to be a medical grade oxygen concentrator? or is non-medical grade ok?

is it worth getting the chamber if im only using room air?

isn't treatment more effective if the air is 80-90% oxygen rather then 24-26% oxygen?

can these chambers be upgraded to 1.5 ATA in Canada?

does the air compressor filter the air it pumps into the chamber? if so, what type of filter is it? washable or replaceable?

  • You gotta be careful with 100% oxygen cause that can cause infections and bacteria to grow at exponential rates. Not to mention the obvious fire hazard.

  • 1. Does the chamber get filled with pressurized air, or with pressurized pure oxygen?

    2. How much does this cost?

    Thanks.

  • 1. It gets filled with pressurized air and the patients breathes oxygen with masks.

    2. We bought a chamber from Reimers Systems, Inc. I believe they sell both monoplace and multiplace chambers.

Refurbished monoplace chambers cost approx $20-30K

    New are worth 50K+

  • Is the mask oxygen they breathe PURE 100% oxygen? I thought that was dangerous.

$20K to $50K sounds shocking. Seems like I could build one for under $1K in parts and free labor, and the fact that it is SUPPOSED to be a little leaky only makes the concept easier to build. I've watched several video clips describing them, and there doesn't seem to be anything overly technical about it.

  • 100% O2 is dangerous? People are doing it all the time. The benefits: During hyperbaric oxygen treatment sessions or "dives," supersaturation of oxygen increases blood etc

Little leaky? Absolutely not! The chambers are leak proof. Many multiplace chambers go all the way to 6 ATA. If they're leaky at that pressure, so long!

I highly doubt you can make one, unless you have a degree in mechanical and architectural, and associates in electrical.

  • Ran out of characters....

    first paragraph continued

and tissue oxygen content at the wound site to stimulate new cell formation, accelerate healing, fight infection and control further damage.

  • check out the real hyperbaric chambers... such as sechrist, perry and reimers multiplaces

  • do they work for diving accidents (scuba accident

  • Absolutely! Solves the air bubbles into the brain problems and lots more.

  • 1. oxygen but dont put too much because it'll catch on fire.

    2. 15,000 is one i heard and it could range from anywhere around there

  • Can I live in this HB Chamber, in case of a nucular fallout ?

  • Nope, it's a suicide booth.
