  • He can Use Green & Blue girls if he likes, Its a free World.. Ps.. I need some orange boys for my New Video lol

  • @lolaloye that is a very narrow view you have. I'm Nigerian and I believe in getting the 'right' people for a job. Would you tell George Michael or late Amy Winehouse to sack their black backing singers? They are there because they are excellent at singing soul. In a similar vein these girls are excellent dancers, getting all black dancers is edging on intolerance. Would you suggest that only black folk should listen to the music? I suspect the brilliant director 'ain't exactly black'.

  • Luv the song and the video somehow reminds me of the movie Water for Elephants :)

  • beautiful concept...underlying message so explicitly explains the system....am proud....

  • white girls..black girls. why does it always have to be abt colour? Girls are girls. Interesting how we black people r always discriminating n sayn we shd ve used Black dis or dat...and YET we call d white man racist if he dares say white only. and lolaoye, ur white friends wanted to see a Nigerian song wit black people in it? why? is it like a zoo or a museum where they wanna examine d "strange black creatures"? I bet u took ur white friends to ZULU land to see d africans livin on trees!

  • @MissKunge TRUE!

  • CREATIVE!!!! And I personally am seeing the Naija-ness, even if the girls may not be. :)

  • PUT YA MONEY DE BOOOOOOOLLL

  • the video & song is ok

  • Absolutely awesome!

  • the fuck!! why are you complaining about having white girls in the video?? then go tell other black artists not to have white girls in their videos... -___- kmt

  • very addictive dis song... cant det it outta my head..lol

  • Ba Ni Kidi mallam!!!

  • I like d video and the concept..

  • the song is funny, the vid should have been funny as well. the parrot was the comic relief to a seemingly boring vid IMO.

  • Très bien!!

    J'aime trop

  • My name is Mark Hofmeyr, I direct most of Darey's vids Tnx for all comments, feedback (and criticism) It's funny how important race is to some people :) So here's the breakdown "not the girl"-1indian grl "no stars"-1indian grl "let you know"-4cape malay + 1blk girl "more"-1blk lead + 25 mxd extras "I like the way you are"-4 blk grls "banikidi"-1blk dancer + 3 wht dancer+mixed cast I think its a pretty good mix :) Anyway pls enjoy da vids & keep in touch Subscribe to me (draftpaper) 2 c more work
  • like da beat though

  • i dont get da storyline of dis song

  • This is Awesome!!!!! well done Dare!!!!

  • I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS! HE GOT IT RIGHT!!

  • dis is borin

  • Great video and i agree with using more black dancing girls but maybe not a lot out there? I also wish the song itself had more substance. It seems such a waste of good video quality and concept for a subpar song...

  • I like all the fussion concept, and I dont care if there are white, yellow, black or brunette girls, all are beautiful, and graceful, cool song and very cool video!! keep on going

  • dis is awesome....we goin higher...blazing hawt

  • Trop bien!!!

A Paris aussi on vous écoute

    Go Nigeria!!

  • Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahah his accent is funny... i kno coz im hausa ;) lol

  • loooove iTTTT

  • proud of u!!u setting the standard!love the vid

  • Nice video, but seriously it doesn't make any sense. Hausa song with indian dancers... Naaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

  • Brill Darey!! U totally rock!

  • Nice Video........ but Darey, , you shouldnt use white girls for your backup dancers again, atleast you could use all black girls or maybe tanned skin..... i was with my white friends and they wanted to see a Nigeria song, after playing it, they actually criticised the video for that...common there are loads of black looking girls around....

    ............Overall nice video.

  • @lolaoye1 Darey always uses non-black women in his videos...and if he makes the mistake of putting a black woman in one, you can bet she's gonna be light as f_ck. You'd think people would be used to it by now.

Besides, he (and so many other Naija singers) are probably just taking their cues from African American rappers and singers.

  • @lolaoye1 Then you should have told them that usually nigerian videos look like western videos.

    What did they expect?

    People climbing on trees?

  • I believe in all of Africa, Nigerian music stands out, and would always represent itself. Great job Darey Art.

  • 1:39 - 1:40 ... Beautiful!

  • he's so gud @ wat he does

  • the video is of international standard and Hollywood class but is the song of international standard?one thing Nigerian Artistes must realise is that they have to make their music easy for other people in the world to understand...Bob marley is Jamaican but people all over the world accept his music because he makes it easy to understand

  • @Megabiteization not necessarily many people used to dance 2 sean paul and punjabi hit squads music without understaning everything even vybz kartel, not everyone who dances to his music understands him.

  • Me likeeeeeey.

  • Shege darey Dan art alade…#epic

  • i can't say for sure if this is a 'great' nigerian song, it has got a lot of western(pop) influence to it, but i give darey a lot of kudos for re inventing himself as an artiste in nigeria where a lot of our artiste are very stereotyped. this also has arguably got to be the best nigerian video i have seen in my life. Kudos darey!!!!

  • Pure, unbelievably magnificent ART

    Dare ART Alade

One of the world's best music videos. Congratulations! I especially love the marriage of diverse ethnicity in this video. I simply cannot get my eyes off it.

  • bani kidi toh quality.........

  • I dey feel you Darey!!!!

  • Video toh quality!!! (Olu Maintain voice). Concept!!

  • this video is so on point, darey killed it

  • Man, there are some lovely shots in this video. On a purely cinematographic level, this is one of the best Nigerian pop videos released in recent times.

Conceptually...well, it was fun, although I would've liked to see a bit more "Naija" in the video. Imagine, Ekombi dancers, Abgor dancers, a few masquarades here and there. A video to rival the colours on display at any of the four major Carnivals in Naij.

    One can dream.

  • @Lyfe00 That was what I wanted to see. I love the concept and the cinematography and the creativity but it missed the Naija factor :(

  • @hot2dmax

It may not be PC, but the carnies fleecing the audience also has something of a Nigerian flavour, albeit the dark side.

    Love the vid.
