Naw Venus didn't give Serena nothing she lost cause Serena served like 96% and Venus couldn't break the serve. Also I think venus knee hurt her mobility but it is too hard for Venus to win grandslams she would never give Serena anything.

I think it was more a combination of Serena playing the best match that she's played in the tournament against Venus and Venus not having to face a real threat until Serena in the final. Serena stepped it up two notches from her semifinal match and just out manuvered Venus. Her serving stats were ridiculously good and her movement was the best that I've seen it all tournament. Look at how fast she's moving and how great her defense is from 1:07 on. Plus she's hitting with power on the run.

the semi final was not tough for GORILLA becoz she played badly.. GORILLA usually likes power but power than comes at her wiht topspin. She is able to get under the ball by bending her knees and use Venus' pace and Lindsay Davenports pace in the past against them itself.

Dementieva has learnt a trick against GORILLA... When serena hits hte ball FLAT .. Dementieva hits the ball back deep and equally FLAT ... Hence GORILLA is unable to bend and finsh off the rallies and her timing goes off!
