Delightful. Though I was born 30+ years past this era, my father and grandmother spoke and carried on this way. It makes me laugh and get wistful at the same time.
Terrific! ...And to continue on prior comments, I hope there will always be those who can appreciate this era. It just takes a little interest. If I love it and I was born thirty odd years after these films were made, then anyone is able to. I wanted to understand the world when my grandparents were young. Some will never have the curiosity, but many surely will. AND...we are lucky enough to have film of it.
Kenneth and George give us a social history lesson. I have always loved their observations on the personalities of their day. True, more or less meaningless now to those with no knowledge of the period.
"But I've seen scotsmen fight for half a crown"...brilliantly witty - tho I suppose a "crown" doesn't mean much anymore, in that sense, nor do "sovereigns" carry much weight. ;)
Did you edit this from several Pathe clips or is this the way it was originally presented? Either way its great. Unfortunately, within a generation, no one will understand this.
Monocles are so awesome.

I love this! What is the word they constantly say in the first song? "It was awful... and then something like "hasna"?

Yes, they were all seperate clips, but I didn't want the video to be too long, so I cut and shuffled it around.
