Nice cover(Like a warm fuzzy blanket) of a great song by a very good musical force from the Great White North, Hell Yeah I love Margo Timmins and the rest of Cowboy Junkies, and this is a very original arrangement of Townes Van Zandt! @nkvv88 "but Townes cuts straight to the soul " as a Townes fan since the 70s and a Texan, this is one of my favorite Townes songs...my wife says if I ever off myself it'll be to/because of this song. The scene in "be here to love me" (the Townes documentary) that goes with this song, an old 60s ford pickup going down the highway with empty beer can on the dash couldn't have captured the song better.

@mardon111 His name was John Townes Van Zandt, people that knew him called him John or John Townes (what his mom called him). I never addressed him as anything, I was too awestruck, but we did share a table at a bar in Austin once with about 6 other people including Guy and Susanna Clark

btw it's even a bit darker than Townes (Watch the Townes DVD live in Amsterdam, where he makes fun of the Cowboy Junkies in terms of writing sad songs, plus Margo and the whole Band are the sweetest people ever to grace this earth, after a two hours set, Margo came out shaking every hand, taking ever Photograpg, and signing everything.)
