dude you should had someone record it for you, that way we could have seen better whatever it came with.
i have one of those for about a year and dell service was good, warranty (1 year standard) is over and its been working great. no complaints. an electrical issue at home or a driver problem might have made my screen flicker when it goes on battery but otherwise than that, it's great.
hey people on youtube whatever u do do not buy this kind of dell u can buy the others but dont buy the 6400 or E1505 the reason is is because i have this laptop and its slow and sucks theres been many times where i want to break it but i dont so iadvise u not 2 get it
I experienced four mayor failures in my inspiron 640 m since i bought it in less than a year, including dvd, screen, hinges and motherboarding replacement
Do you still have the bag that was over the actual laptop itself? And if so, would you be willing to mail that to me??? I laughed for maybe 10 minutes at the choking hazard mark lmfao.
he is opening the box with one of those dual mini headphone jack heads. and he opens the box with the power bar in it first before the laptop. dell should be ashamed of selling a product to this tool
Aww man this video was technicly mocking me...I still have to wait 22 days for my laptop to be dillevered to my house :D...are those blue socks ur wearing...?
Thanks for the video. Does the Dell come with any video editing software ? Just kidding. But this could have been cut by at least a 1/3 with some judicious editing for an overall snappier, fast paced presentation. Thanks again.
Boring and slow. Watching a low quality video with nobody talking about the product, such a waste of time. Next time please tell somebody to hold the camera, maybe we can see more than your hand trying to open a box with a power cord. Your camera movement make me a headache.
WTF man I thought this was a 1520!!! WTF!!! I wasted 9 minutes thinking that that was it... I tried not to say anything bad but daaaaaaaamn man why don't you edit the title
relax stupid this is not a big deal, i was just pointing something out. and inspiron sucks, even though they have improved it. xps and sony vaio's are good.
I have a list wherein I rank all the videos I have ever seen in my life. This video is the second most pointless video on the list. I am in the market for a Dell Notebook and this video made no contribution whatsoever to my purchasing decisions. It was a complete waste of time for those who viewed it. Please remove it from this website.
You have got to be joking. If my video is the second most pointless, then yours about some guy dancing has to be first. Not like making a list ranking every video you've ever seen isn't a complete waste of time, either.
Incorrect. Dancing is entertainment. Watching some guy take 9 minutes to open a computer is something people do when they want to lose their dignity. Besides, couldn't you use a knife? Even a butter knife would have done the job; that chord was not necessary. However, I think you could find better use with that chord.
This might seem a bit obvious, and yes quite sarcastic, but there's a very handy little tool called....a knife. It comes in various sizes, shapes and sharpness. What they all have in common is that they're used to cut, slice and open objects. Even a butter knife would work better than a friggin' cord! Oh and if this is supposed to be a review, it sucks!
Why not have the computer already unpacked and talk about it!
I had already tried a butter knife, which didn't work, but the cord was a last resort. It wasn't supposed to be a review, just an informational video for potential Dell customers.
I'm sorry...I was being rude...and I apologize. OK, being honest but not purposely rude, you could make a new one and just point some things out. It would be entertaining and informative. Just give you opinion about what you think about it.
Speaking of that...I just ordered one and it will be here in a couple of weeks. What do you think of the E1505? Also, what are the specs on yours?
You're fine, I shouldn't have been that aggressive toward you. The E1505's screen looked a little too big for me on the CNet review, so that was the deciding point between the E1505 and the E1405. By no means should that discourage you. Some just want a bigger screen than others.
Specs:
Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Intel Pentium Dual-Core T2060 @ 1.60 GHz (If I had to do it over, I would definitely upgrade to the Core 2 Duo.)
It's a pity you only got it with a Pentium Dual-Core processor. You could have stepped up to a Core Duo for 40 bucks more, or a Core 2 Duo for maybe 80 bucks more.
It did (Dell had stopped sending them with XP), and it came with a free Vista upgrade CD as well for whatever version you purchased. Vista was preinstalled, so don't worry about that.
When I ordered it, it shipped Friday, and arrived the following Tuesday, so it takes approximately three or four days the mail runs, depending on where you live. (It ships from Texas)
ever heard of scissors? Also, why would you buy a Dell? They are the single worst made computer on the face of planet earth and have the worst customer service rating of all computer companies in the USA.
People who know better buy Macs. 9000 people a DAY in the US switch from junky old pcs running Windows to the beauitful, stable, intuitive Apple MacBook, MacBook Pro, iMac, Power Mac, etc. Join the revolution. No more do u have to suffer.
My pair of scissors had broken, and I don't happen to have $1000 to drop on a Mac. I've bought Dells for years and have had no problems whatsoever dealing with Dell or their computers. "Junky old" PCs wouldn't apply here because this one is obviously brand new.
