@hotmercedes You do know they wait 4 years between his death and picking the new incarnation. When they do, the child can range from 2-3 years old typically. That's why they are 2-3

1, you forgot to point out that when several candidates are recognized, they put each childs name on a slip, and draw one slip out of an urn.

2, Chine only entered Tibet after the signing of the 17 point agreement. It was peaceful, not an invasion.

3, Check the holes in your math, 14 Dalai Lamas in 500 years?

4. How did all these Dalai Lamas die?

5. 2 years old, raised in monestary to be Dalai Lama, freedom of choice?

1. Wrong! That'd only mean other methods are useless.

2. Wrong! The 17th point "agreement", which was under duress btw, was long after Chinese had already entered from the east and reached the central Tibet.

5. Reasonable point, but Buddhists knows it best so I suggest you not speak on it especially when your govt. suppress the freedom of speech and religion of Tibetans.

Shugden actually cares about TIbetan Buddhism thats why the Dalaia Lama has to remove him. Just like he had to remove all the monks & lamas who also wanted to exercise freedom of speech. The fact that Kelsang Gyatso is willing to put his reputation & life at stake to protect Buddhism is a proof that he is an authentic Lama. Dalaia Lama told all the other lamas to shut up. Hes a feudal lord dictator repressing 100000s of monks & nuns wanting exclusive power & using media to get it

He is going to choose someone before he dies to carry on his policy of destroying tibetan Buddhism and interfering in the 4 tibetan schools of buddhism. This person will try to severe relations between teacher & students by not allowing the correct reincarnations to be recognised. Same as he tells the oracles what to say shame he couldnt get Shugden oracle under his belt eh. A Buddha will never take a corrupt politician as his master.
