Well it didn't look it when I left. I was within a row or two of the stage and could see the amps still lit up. Also if the rest of Moore Park power was out the outside lighting would have been out.
When did you leave? Did you go during the blackout??? If you are talking about after the show, of course the outside lighting was on, because the power was restored. I imagine that any lights that were still on were powered by a backup power source which wasn't great enough to maintain power while the band was playing, but was enough to provide power lights and backup lighting for the pavilion.
After getting sick of waiting about the front , I headed outside. The lights were working and the bars and most important thing the pay station in the car park aswell! I left not long after they got the lights came back online. just on a side note I also sub contract to Energy Australia and had a few mates chase up power faults in the area that night.
yeah don't worry about the equipment still lit up or the plenty of water the band had ready to hand out to the punters. BULLSHITTING MOTHER FUCKER!
