Yeah, and I'm sure all of you will claim that he was lip-synching in his AUDITION TAPE for Glee, too. -_- If you look at better-quality videos of the same song, you can SEE his throat moving, and his adam's apple. He's not lip-synching. If he couldn't sing live, I highly doubt Ryan Murphy would write him his own damn character for the show. -_-

I think Chris is better in Glee Live than anyone else..maybe it's because he has more stamina? Lea seems tired from performing, and I get that...who wouldn't be exhausted? But Chris sounds amazing! However, I love them both dearly.

All this stuff about Chris lip syncing is bullshit. I agree with what others are saying, just because he's a good live singer DOES NOT mean he is lip syncing. Someone said Chris sounds similar to the studio version. Of course he does, it's the same person singing! If the same person sings a song more than once, it's most likely going to sound similar to when they sang it before because it's the SAME person. Lea is amazing and Chris is too. Can we not just enjoy them both?

@dublingal99 No sound equipment. And live singing sounds different. Compare Lea in Phoenix and Lea in other cities. Only in Phoenix she sang the entire song live, in other cities she lip synced the last part. There is absolutely no difference in how Chris performs this song in every city.

I really don't want to believe it, but I lined up both Chris's studio version and this and it's IDENTICAL. Like. No difference. I'm not denying the fact that this could very well be real, but ... I want some clarification? Anyone who was there?

This is amazing! Kurt and Rachel are my fave characters! i do not think anyone is lip syncing both of them are really talented and great live singers. i think Lea Michele is vocally incredible! Chris Colfer is amazing too. :)

You can tell it's not lip synced otherwise producers would auto-tune the heck out of the songs, and the singers slip up occasionally, but not drastically. Yeah, they're all really damn good singers.

@babes412 yeah I think Chris is a great singer too. Everyone on Glee is extremely talented! If they couldn't sing they would not be on the show. oh but idl if his range is higher than hers. Idk if he can hit an A5 using chest voice. Falsetto for sure. But not in his normal voice.But in the end Chris is real and everyone who thinks otherwise will be silenced soon! THEY WILL BELIEVE!!!!!

Regardless of what Chris says, he's lip syncing... which is unfortunate. Most of them lip sync'd in Bad Romance too. I think, with a show like this, you really have to step up and bring the abilities. I mean, watch other versions of this... not a falture of note anywhere, no improv of tone or pitch.... just exactly the same way it sounds on recording.

Chris sounded awesome. I was a little disappointed with Lea, but hey, she sings big parts in nearly every song, so it's expected that at some point she's going to sound not as amazing as she always does. But still, a great performance.

Okay so chis colfer is NOT lip syncing he said himself that him and the cast of glee have a very hard time with lip syncing and they all prefer to sing live.there is just no pleasing some people you all freakout when they sound good live. Deal with it he's talented and I bet if he sounded not so Hot so hot singing this song you all would still be downing him so just accept that Lea is not the only talented person on the show. K bye.

it's obvious he's lipsyncing. and this comes from an avid glee fan. you can even see a change when they sing the last bit together. in the first part lea sounds 100% live and in the moment, chris not so much, and when they sing their parts together you can hear the difference in lea's voice when they start using the track for both. Not hating, most of these kids aren't singers, so what should we expect.

It's identical to the recording, he has facial emotion, and Lea is clearly sounding a lot different. So let all of the non-music-experienced noobs think whatever they want.

Can you people not hear the mic lisps that indicate a live performance? He's too good is not valid "proof" that he's miming. Lea isn't the only talented person. Chris sounds good live. The end.

What difference does it make if he's lip-synching? He still has a phenomenal voice - and he had to record it in the first place. It's beautiful and entertaining to the audience. End of story.

@tdallasw When I pay $95 plus a good $20 in taxes for a ticket, as well as the cost of gas/transportation and dinner totaling to about $200 for the entire day for just myself I expect to at least have the people I'm going to see put forth the effort to sing live, not just stand there and mime. I mean come on, theres like 10 of them carrying the weight of the show, the shows only an hour long, and they're only doing the short versions of the songs. The tracks are sooo uneccesary.

There are no natural breaths in his performance, and if you compare the audio to the audio from all the other shows it sounds exactly the same. It's just not possible. Watch the mashup videos or the Bad Romance videos, its even more obvious theyre lipsyncing there.

@justbecasue1 I can see where like there's room to doubt, but if you compare all of them you'll see they sound indentical. Like how everyone says the ahh at the end is off, but its exactly like that in every performance. Also you can't hear any natural parts on Chris' part and at like 0:11 when it goes into too late for second guessing it just sounds unnatural and recorded, and it sounds like that for any video.

@justbecasue1 I think Chris is amazing and I have no doubt he's miming to his own voice, but I mean he doesn't have any experience performing on a full fledged tour in front of thousands of screaming fans where you can barely hear yourself even with the monitors. I just find it very unlikely for him to not only be that flawless his first time out, but to be able to note by note reproduce the exact same vocal performance at every single show.

@justbecasue1 I mean even Lea Michele or Amber Riley, the most seasoned out of them all have imperfect moments in there performance and slight falters and alterations night by night. Even the best are not 100% perfect all of the time, its just not humanly possible so I don't see why people won't stop making up excuses and get over the fact that he's lipsyncing.
