It is not only next to impossible for persons with disabilities to be seen by casting. I am a full ACTRA member and full SAG member, and Canadian casting is not open to seeing anyone they do not know, and this is my experience for my entire career here. We placard, visit Ottawa, scream and yell that Americans are taking over our programming. Well, if Canadian productions' casting will not see us, do you blame us for creating American opportunities? Let's get real.
