Besides a great routine, they had good posture and footwork.
I thought their quickstep figure, which you refer to it as the "stag leap",was called the "flying Dutchmen" back in the 70's and 80's. Explained as, "FTD florist man fromTV commercial.Except this couple take it to the next level.Looks like they are performing a series of three of them right after another. They are really travelling across the floor.
The "stag leap" is a ballet leap, completed with one leg underneath and one behind. I'd call these jétés, since both are extended: one in front and one behind, as per v=oHivyA_fwpA.
Yo listen up. Here is the story. About a little guy that lived in a blue world. All day and all night and everything he sees is just blue, like him, inside and outside. Blue his house with a blue little window and a blue corvett.
erm. their signature move in the quickstep is the stag leap! their the only pro couple to actually straighten the legs in mid air! their the perfect height for each other in hips and shoulders which makes this move so easier for them than other couples!!!
yes ....nice couple .....nice dance :D ......i like verry much .....maybe someone know the name of the song ..because i like the music too :D if somebodyy know please ..leave a comment :D thank you
The name of the song is "The way to Your heart"; the original was an early 90s hit for Soulsister from Belgium. In this comp, however, it was performed live by the Erich Erber Big Band.
This is what dancing the quickstep is supposed to be. I love the traditional ballroom dances; have been into Latin American for years (the obvious 5 dances), but since last year I tend to like the traditional ballroom better. :)
Well, I noticed Domenico also likes to do this walk-around figure (done at the end of this routine).
If you look at my Arunas & Edita vid, I think they have 2 signature patterns where they dance in place. One involves Edita kicking her leg high into the air and the other one has Arunas doing this sort of pose during the pattern.
Her shoes are pink to match her dress!!!!! I love it
