So I am getting a new editing software for my new laptop and i dont know what to get. My choses are CyberLink PowerDirector 9and Pinnacle.

BUT I need a few things on the editing system.

I need to be able to change the pitch WITHOUT shortening the video(for MUSIC).

Also to play 2 videos at once. I know Pinnacle does this. I just want to know if PowerDirector does.

@XStainedColorsX sorry as i dont use power director i have no idea,but most video editing software will have at least two video tracks some have more,why dont you download the trial version that would be better for you

I downloaded the free trial and it works real slow and it destroys the video quality. Is this because it is a crappy free trial? I hope so.

@iMCrAzYsLiCk first you need to download a programe called blender,then you need the 20th century fox logo.if you search you tube there are loads of tuorials on how to do the intro,a;lso where to get blender and the logo.hope this helps good luck.let me know when you have done one,take care

everybody here if your using pinnacle studio 14 check out all 3 of ( my short films ) not videos. but take a look, let 1080p fully load 1st before you hit play ( mandatory ) you can see thier i have done my absolute best to prefect avchd footage rendered it full blown to 1080p..

thnak for your comments,i use pinnacle 14 and this is waht i do , i dont upload from pinnacle straight to you tube i make movie and save as hd m-peg 4 i save it to desk top then upload saved file from desk top.hope this helps

Hi there ,i am start too make a videoclip, but i have some problemns with synchronisation of the music with my mouth ,(Face ) how can i make that the music starts at the same point together witm my mouth , maybe is there a other way,, fisrt i have te movie(clip) and then i put the music on the timeline, thanks for help ,Leon

the intro was made with a programe called blender,if you put blender into the search on you tube there are videos that will show you how to do it.hope this helps

you need at least 2 gb of ram it does say so on the box pinnacle is one of the best video editing software for the ease of use.

hey how did you upload this video, i'm (trying..) to make a video using a capture card (recording an xbox 360 film). but when i upload it says Upload failed: unkown error occured. Do you know how to fix this?

when you up load you can only upload 10mins make sure the file is not to long,next it could be the file format you are using you need to to use avi,fvl,or mpeg4 i think that all the file formats.anyway convert your file to avi or mpeg4 or you tube own file format ,if you do that you shoukd be okay
