  • What a revelation -- the sponsors of Prop 23 present it as a means of reducing unemployment while the last thing they want is for unemployment to drop to low enough levels to trigger re-implementation of AB 32. Can any rational person not conclude that the "save jobs" claim of Prop 23 is nothing more than a smokescreen?  And if Prop 23 passes, how long will it take for unemployment to reach the AB 32 re-implementation point of 5.5%? If the Prop 23 sponsors have their way, it will never happen.

  • I've done this kind of live town hall in my community for about 12 years, whenever there are a lot of ballot propositions to sort out. I use the official voter information guide as my info source.

    Thanks for viewing this and feel free to share. The more solid, basic information people have, the better they can sort out what - in light of their own values - makes sense. My goal is to help voters make informed choices, since I believe our system of government relies on it.
