For it to be a local flood, covering mountains, and doing so for 40 days, you would need TALLER mountains COMPLETELY surrounding the region. Since that is not the case and the flood sustains for that duration, it HAS to be global. there is not enough place for all that water to drain too. This is besides the fact that being that high up would have killed most of the animals, all the fresh water fish would have died, and what about the termites, did noah take 2 of them?

My point was just to show that there`s no opposition between religion and knowladge (science). Sciences are also based on some beliefs, axioms, point in mathmatics is one of them. Theory of evolution is not an axiom, just a theory.

No it's not. It still falls in to natural selection. Natural selection simply means that a life form with a certain characteristic will have a higher chance of survival. In the case of the animals that are raised by humans: they have a better chance of passing on their genes if they are "cute dogs". You might think Natural selection only happens in the wild but you are closed minded.

The difference between animals and humans is that the first are adapted to the enviroment, the latter are adapting enviroment for thier own use... You don`t consider cityies as "natural" enviroment, do you?

Ecology (according to my own memory banks) "Eco" Refers to a living communities. "ology" IS the study of. Your response is not a refutation. Do the above verses come from the bible? And, do the above verses affirm the anti-scientific belief that the earth does not move through the universe? The answer to both questions is yes, therefore it doesn't matter that I just copy/pasted them here.
Also, she uses English because the vast majority of the world speaks it. It's the best way to be understood by the most people... but I assume you know that, what with the robot voice and all.
