What is with the Gradius series and catchy fire stage songs? First it was Burning Heat, then stage 3 from Salamander, this, and then, to top it off, Fire Scramble. That was awesome, but I prefer this song to all of them.

After listening to Blazed Up, Burning Heat, and Fire Scramble, I have to agree with you. Burning Heat takes the cake. About the P.S., unfortunatly, I can't. :/ It's a shared account, and the person I share it with says he'll delete it if the username is changed, plus I don't know how to. I'm really PO'ed at the other guy right now...

haha!! it is all good man :). Honestly, the Gradius series has so many wonderful tunes!. Sometimes, it is very hard to find a favorite. Nevertheless, if you haven't yet, make sure you check out the new Gradius Rebirth soundtrack. It totally kicks @ss!!!. You can search for it here on "youtube".

Heh. I've already found my favorite FAR before you put this post up. It is, and always will be, Heavy Blow. Overheat comes at a close second, which I think is Ace's favorite, but Heavy Blow is teh $H!T for me. I think it sounds really cool. But my favorite video game song of all time has to be Dust Man's theme from Mega Man 4. I really like songs like his, strong, sad, and they stick in your head. Makes you wonder what he feels like, shoveling and smelting the remains of his comrades... Jeez!

You actually LIKE something from the MegaMan 4 soundtrack? I don't know what it is with me, but the music in MegaMan 4(except the Robot Master tune) is just a mash of high-pitched squeals that hurt my ears.

And yes, Overheat is my favorite Gradius tune of all time.

Yeah. I don't know why people don't like it, as to me, it's pretty good. I think the worst song in existence is one of the Metal Sonic themes, but I can't remember which one. It sounds like some guy just mashed on a keyboard and called it a song... ICK!
