So chuffed I became a subscriber. Your email alerted me to this great track and subsequent discovery of your Hampton story. I've been unable to leave the comp. as I've been re-discovering the great music he created through your "Hamp Fest". Fabulous post and thanks for the brilliant stuff I've found on your channel. I know how addictive great jazz can be. I frequently run 36hr + days on YouTube and transferring my vinyls to cds. Fortunately, at 67yrs I'm retired although the body aches.

Hey, not bad for your first remix! Gonna go straight to favorites. I kinda wonder what you could do with a tune like Count Basie's "The Mad Boogie" or Sam Cooke's version of "Summertime"?
Interesting one. I like the treatment that you do with your singles. Excellent conservation, my friend.

@adstocklad Thanks so much for the great words. :)
Lionel Hampton is one of my heroes - and one of the purest souls I've ever met.

Get Audacity, it's free and make the sort of thing you did much easier than movie maker would have.

@Bartholomule01 Got it - that's how I've been transferring my 78's since May. With the slideshow, I have to do it in Windows Movie Maker.

@Bartholomule01 Very carefully & tediously through Windows Movie Maker. ;)
