  • nice !!!

  • Wow! A great rendition of one of my favorite songs of all times. They'd love you in New Orleans at a Jazz Bar on Bourbon Street!

  • @spacemark7...kindred spirits we are...it's one of my all-time faves as well! As for the jazz bar on Bourbon Street...I hope to get there some day soon, if only to enjoy 'the ambience'...thanx for saying hello!

  • Nice inversions and absolutely great tone. Are you using an echo box or just the reverb on the amp?

  • @jjfender08 - Thanx so much! I use a Marshall pre-amp (hybrid solid state/tube technology) and then run it into a Lexicon LX-P 1. I quite like the warmth of the sound as well...thanx for stopping by!

  • I love it. Better than the real thing!

  • Very laid back and dreamy.Nice improv.

  • Absolutely outstanding. One of the best "hippie tunes" of all time - you do it justice - and more!

  • I luv it...'hippie tune'! Such an apt description cuz that's exactly where I was in my life when this tune hit the airwaves. I thank-you for your kind encouragement. Take care!

  • Hey man, I had to ask: Where do you get your backing tracks?

    Do you make your own?

  • All of my backing trax are from Band In a Box...I sooooo highly recommend that nifty little program and I swear I have no affiliation with them whatsoever (altho, with all my great promotion I'm thinking about requesting a discount on their new Real Band program...at any rate, thanx so much for your support and encouragement; I look forward to perusing some more of your stuff as well and the answer is 'highly likely' :)

  • Very cool. I actually own a copy of both cakewalk sonar and FL Studio.

I'm only just starting to find my way around fruityloops, but it seems very cool.

I think I will start doing bass and drumlines for my vids with it as soon as I can gain reasonable proficiency with it.

  • You are great!

  • Once again: SUPER

Do you make all the arrangments for the song you play?

  • Hi julesforet, yes I tend to work out an arrangement for a tune and then I like to try to make it fit a variety of styles...i.e., swing, funk, latin, etc.

  • why does "smooth" always come to mind when I watch you . . . Very nice style - great playing - class all the way ! Sweet and lovely sound.
