im' not keen on the idea of having the pump run externally. It most likely would be ok but if it slipped of it could flood you're room. For peace of mind i always like the pump inside the resovoir
fair comment but to be fair millions of people use them for aquarims and ponds i guess you are not too confident in your own abilities to make sure it is sealed good enough :)
This is the best kit for growing any fruit plant ,but remember 1 thing allways flood from below not above,so swap the top fill pipes to the bottom add 2 overflows per pod at the top and bang you,ll have some of the best FRUITS in town,taste and yield wize.
