Despite this loss, IU looks better than UK at this point. Auburn gave UK a run for their money the other night and UK only beat UL by 7 at home (remember UL got destroyed by Providence, the worst Big East team, by 31 points). Oh, and IU beat UK.

@springjo1 we are in a major defensive slump and are still not back to our good ball movement on offense. We arent playing good right now. They will adjust as the season goes on. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

@MrLcmcb Maybe Indiana will adjust. I'm not going to write them off just yet, even Kentucky had some terrible losts last year that nobody saw comming and what happened? Kentucky made it to the Final Four, so you can't write anything off. Do I see Indiana making a big run in the NCAA Tournament? No, but you never know. I think the rivalry between UK and IU is going to get more intense as the years go by and I hope it does, because it will only make each team better.

I remember watching Indiana playing Kentucky and it was clearly Indiana's lack of defense that kept Kentucky in the game and allowed Kentucky to nearly escape with the win. The story is about the same against Ohio State. Indiana's lack of defense allowed Ohio State to nearly beat Indiana in Bloomington. If Indiana would fix thier defense I think that they could make a deep run in the NCAA tourney.

@springjo1 I thought the defense was "satisfactory" in the kentucky and OSU games, it still could have been better, but with the way our offense was scoring it didnt seem like it needed to. The second half today at the penn state game looked like it brought us almost back to where we were. Playing like we did in the first half of the season plus some good 3 point shooting and i dont think that there are many teams out there that could compete.
