I mean, you're not my type, but you're not terrible." and the look on her face when he says that is priceless and when she asks, "Who else could love me after what I've become?" he gives her that look that says: "Well, I could..." I think this episode foreshadowed Season 4 Dair. I mean, it's definitely hinted at here. "Who else could love me after what I've become?" And how significant is it that Dan walks up to Blair as she's watching Chuck hit on another girl and say "Just to clarify, I do think you deserve to be with someone who makes you happy"...?
i think that they should get together i really think that it would change both of them. it would make dan see why blair is who she, and i think she could inspire him ( you know in writing). And i think that he could make her more down to earth and help her enjoy the little things

I have been a big Dair fan ever since this scene and I was also thinking, that they didn't write this interaction for nothing. I think that if they can be civil with one another when the other is going through something like here for example than it's not impossible for them to get together. I mean Dan did offer her a dance and she gave him her hand. She doesn't hate him and he doesn't hate her. Besides there's more to blair than her evil plans and Dan knows that. So it's possible.
i am always a chair fan, but i think these 2 would make a really cute couple, esp now with chuck and blair going at war (4x04)

dan can be very sweet when he wants to. i'm not sure about dair. against: he's serena's big love. rough. pros: he is very sweet and could show chuck how to be tender to a woman and not a total basshole (like selling her to jack, that's just unforgivable, much worst than jenny's thing, blair should be mad at him about THAT, not sleeping with jenny).

They're fun to watch when they interact, but they're polar opposites, so their relationship would never work. I know I'll get the "opposites attract" line like 1000 times, but there's a difference between being different and DESPISING eachother's dominating qualities.

I loved Blair in S1, with the whole N/B/C thing. And I loved her with both of them, and for the first time I had no sides on a triangle. But now, I think that they would have to do miracle to get B and C back and make it work, and N and B would have to be forever if happens again. So I'd love to see Dair because would open a lot of story lines and they are both funny when they are together. They were the only thing fun to watch in season 3. Believe me I never thought I would say that.
I like the potential Dair have. I love Chuck, but man, does he have issues. Dan is the opposite of Chuck and it would be interesting to see what would happen if he dated Blair. She needs to date someone outside her comfort zone. I think Season 3 lost its edge, and Dair would be a great way to open up some new stories. GG are never gonna get thru another 3 seasons if they just keep repeating the same old relationships.

The GG writers need to stop worring about what a certain fandom whats and worry about good story telling. OMG! FINALLY! I've been a Dair Devil since s1. I was just about readdy to give up on the show. The storylines have been horrible, and ever single ship I ever liked gets destroyed. I hated that every pairing on the show is so superfical and they all seem to want to stick to their own kind. As for Chuck, I was a fan of his in s1 when her was comedic relief as a womanizing playboy.

i thought after that episode where dan invites blair to the college party, it wouldve been perfect if there was a 'my fair lady' type storyline where dan helps blair get used to the college life and they get together. but they could still make it work with this, dan helps out blair and they hang out more etc. hopefully its not like other storylines, where the couples get together straight away. maybe drag it out a bit

lmfao i love them, theyre too cute for words together. but seriously they have awsome chemistry with each other, i love their hate/hate relationship lol, but even when they dont really like each other, theyre still sorta friends. their scenes together are the best, im soo rooting for them to get together, i just hope when it happeneds its done right. they have the potential of being amazing ♥

I loved Blair in S1, with the whole N/B/C thing. And I loved her with both of them, and for the first time I had no sides on a triangle. But now, I think that they would have to do miracle to get B and C back and make it work, and N and B would have to be forever if happens again. So I'd love to see Dair because would open a lot of story lines and they are both funny when they are together. They were the only thing fun to watch in season 3. Believe me I never thought I would say that.

I like the potential Dair have. I love Chuck, but man, does he have issues. Dan is the opposite of Chuck and it would be interesting to see what would happen if he dated Blair. She needs to date someone outside her comfort zone. I think Season 3 lost its edge, and Dair would be a great way to open up some new stories. GG are never gonna get thru another 3 seasons if they just keep repeating the same old relationships.

Btw I think that Dair would be awesome because they are like Seth and Summer of The O.C. and JS said he had a blast with Seth and Summer because there are so many storylines you could do with that couple.

I didn't mind the chair thing, they were not a bad couple, but dan/blair would absolutely the best! I mean, it would get really HOT!!
I loved the way their relationship changed from season one, when the kinda hated each other, to now.... If they put these two togheter, i will be dancing under the rain in underwear.

The GG writers need to stop worring about what a certain fandom whats and worry about good story telling. I'm sure if they know how to properly tell a story they could sway the fans to like just about any pairing they throw at them. It just need to bee well writen and given time to develop. I hate that they just throw ppl together.

OMG! FINALLY! I've been a Dair Devil since s1. I was just about readdy to give up on the show. The storylines have been horrible, and ever single ship I ever liked gets destroyed. I hated that every pairing on the show is so superfical and they all seem to want to stick to their own kind. Chair, Serenate, Danessa (I hate them all) It's like wirters think ppl enjoy dating themselves. Not true, who wants to date the male/female version of themself? That's BORING AS HELL!

@lovinxtina Rating are going up? Really? I hear so many Chair fans talk about how Chair is what makes ratings. I never understood why. Because I thing s2 and s3 sucked. Only slight things were intersting, but then the writers end them as soon as it happens it like they don't know the meaning of build up. They have no idea what good story telling is.

@lovinxtina I'm a writer myself. and for a writers point of view there are so many things I would have done diff. I feel like the couple that were more capable of creating real stories with substance were Blair and Dan they would have been the perfect opposites attract story.Because they are opposite to an extreme, that in it's own create so much drame for a couple.

@Selumgirl I know! my Blair would have been more like how she was in the books. The ambious, stary-eyed romantic, who often thinks her life is an old black and white movie staring her. She'd be the girl show want everything to be perfect. Perfect life, perfect boyfriend, perfect marriage. But when she falls for Dan (the PERFECT Paul to her Holly) she freaks because he's from Brooklyn and OMFG! What will ppl think of her if she dates Dan Humphrey!? She can't! But she really, really want to.

@lovinxtina Jenny and Nate would have been the perfect older guy falls for his bestfriend little sister story. It would have been cute to watch them resist the connection they had, but fail epically. And Serena she is just so irrelavent, such a Mary Sue. I would have made her the troubled one. I would have writen her as a free spirited wild child, how was charming yet reckless, ah la Kate Moss. As for Chuck, I was a fan of his in s1 when her was comedic relief as a womanizing playboy.

all i can say is...ITS ABOUT TIME!!!! from season 1, episode 1 i wanted these 2 together!!! then everyone got soooo swept up in chair but i was always holding out for dan and blair!..YAY!!!! i think these 2 are the couple that will pleasantly surprise even the biggest chair fans out there! - i really think he is the underdog and the one that will make blair truley happy. bring it on!!! Chair is cool but they are getting old for me (i still kinda ship them). They were heated in the begining but after awhile the flame began to...fade. Dair just leads to winning lines.

i thought after that episode where dan invites blair to the college party, it wouldve been perfect if there was a 'my fair lady' type storyline where dan helps blair get used to the college life and they get together. but they could still make it work with this, dan helps out blair and they hang out more etc. hopefully its not like other storylines, where the couples get together straight away. maybe drag it out a bit

Im actually liking DAIR. On the "Dr. Strangedlove" promo I am hoping there are some DAIR scenes and I don't know why I have the feeling there will be (maybe because of this monday's episode haha). When that girl that is with Dan calls someone a slut at first I thought she was referring to Jenny but by Dan's expression I doubt it is I am thinking it's Blair dressed scandalous because then you see a pissed of Chuck glaring at somethin/someone,...maybe DAIR? hope so!! haha
