It is another case of corporate imperialism. I.E. + Google incorporated gmail-usernames with youtube-log-ins, so that research can be user-defined. This Adds to streamlining, toggling controls, manipulation, and restructuring. All of wich I am opposed to, unless it is our youtube community propagating these changes. None of my friends or subscribers requested a change in format.  GRIND!

Why cant we just Choose Among Classic, Beta, and shitty CosmicPanda? I do wanna see an upgraded version of the Classic. Not Too much Upgraded New Things, but just small new things like make the boxes look like glass or something. Same with the Beta Layout. I will miss making new wallpapers on the Beta layout like on my channel all colorful and video game like. Cosmic looks boring as hell, and dull. I just hope YouTube makes BIG changes on Cosmic cuz no one likes it at all. :/

I've been complaining on the YouTube channel every single day for the past few days. If you read the comments there, 99% of them are saying they hate the new channels. Also, a lot of people are planning to boycott YouTube on February 18 and 19 and March 7. (Or whatever date they finally decide to make the new channels mandatory.) Which means they don't/won't go on YouTube or watch any videos from YouTube that are posted anywhere. Some people go as far as to boycott YouTube every Sunday as well.

Oh, boy! They gave us an extra 6 days to keep the channels most of us like A LOT better. What bullshit! They should at least continue to allow us to watch videos on our pages.They should also allow us an unlimited amount of playlists on our featured page too. At the very least! Change is good, but I hate the new channel layout because it is very hard to use, and they get rid of your subscriptions/subscribers box cause we would like to know who subbed to our channel and others to see who subscribed to your channel. You can't choose different colours to design your channel. They make you use the stupid cosmic panda layout with the black and white splotch in the centre that you can't get rid of. I'm against the new design. Who's with me?

BIG partnered uploaders may gain more viewers, small uploaders lose viewers and collector's channels will be wiped away. The most creative people on YT abhor the new layout the most & many already closed their accounts. YOUtube is gone.

Customization of your channel is greatly reduced, and everywhere you see is grey, grey, grey. It makes me watch LESS vids. In the past weeks users not only lost channel & upload views, but also subscribers. Because it's harder to find interesting uploads from friends (which are now gone btw & sort of replaced by 'contacts') on the home page (also due to the excessive scrolling)

The new YT layout is ugly, cold, sterile and impersonal IMHO. More important is that behind the redesigning is a new format, which is supposed to change our behaviour: watch as many vids on the video page as possible - fully in line with YT's new strategy to become a web-based TV channsubscribed to (because the user put great effort in making an interesting collection of art, science, fun, sports, etc from different uploaders. The social aspect is gone for the biggest part.

The old layout allows more customization and so I prefer it. It doesn't seem like it would be very difficult to allow for more customization with the new layout. Some color would be nice. I hate the generic gray!

The new channel layout isn't quiteready yet, I see theydo keep improving it. For example yo can now see everyone in your box without pressing 'more' and in the Blogger layout you can now choosea featured video to autoplay. They need to make the channel comments more visable. Overall though, I think the new layout is a step forward, it looks more up to date, the thumbnails are much better. They do need to give us more felxability though
