  • The only difference is ?

  • Cool

  • nice tank!

  • i heard that acrylic tanks can get scratched up easily by turtles hass that happened to you cause i wanna get one

  • @ImClueless627 they can get scratched but acrylic tanks can be fixed easily also it depends on the company that makes it for the quality

  • beautiful tank and turtles!

  • hey i love your tank but i am thinking i see all these tank that say sand is bad for them is that true? what is better for the turtles the sand or gravel??thanks

  • To clean the sand you only need a syphen works pretty good actually btw nice tank I still need to uprgrads mine for my 4 turtles 5/5

  • sand seems like it would be harder to clean than the rocks i have, which are large, smooth rocks designed and sold for turtles

  • Dude thats awsome tank, did you say the1 little turtle is a musk turtle

  • This is an amazing tank. Love the sand!

  • Really nice tank!

  • how come the sand didnt mix with the water?

  • How is your Razorback Musk doing with the sand? Any issues?

  • @LeafDHNine They LOVE the sand. They usually bury themselves about halfway up their shells in it and just chill and sometimes sleep in it.

  • @AngelsEdge How big are your Razorbacks now?

I have tons of black sand and i been reading sand is a no no for these guys. So since you have yours in sand and its sounds like your not having issues. Its worth a try for me. Thanks!

  • how much did the tank cost

  • where you buy the sand?

  • @dummy395 hardware store

  • It's good to see another hobbyist out there providing their turtles with a proper set up. I see way too many wrong set ups online and everywhere else. I love the sand, I'm really considering to put sand in my tank now. What kind of filter are you running on your tank?

  • @Boneyman It has a wet/dry bio-ball trickle system with a 700 GPH pump, about a 30 gallon sump tank underneath. Thanks!

  • that tank looks HUGE, how big are your turtles??

  • @wordemup2 most of them are around 1.5 to 2.5 inches but the two larger ones a MAP and SLIDER are closer to 4 inches. The tank is a 90 gallon which is a lot of room for now. . . .another couple years and they'll outgrow it.

  • cool

  • @EcBuddy123 Thanks!

  • @AngelsEdge but y does ur sand look whiter? my play sand looks brown, what bran do you use?

  • @EcBuddy123 Regular play sand from the hardware store. It looks dark normally but under the fish light that has kinda light purple standard bulbs from the petstore it makes the sand look almost white. That and the fact that I rinsed the sand about 10 times before putting it in the tank helped too.

  • @AngelsEdge yeah i rinse it out but it looks like regular riverbed sand even with a light so i got rid of it, right now my tanks are bare and only one tank has gravel
