Das haben wir gerne, Herr Rether. Sich über die angebliche Intoleranz "der" Deutschen lustig machen, aber sich dann die Frechheit herausnehmen, darüber zu entscheiden, welches Essen eklig und unmenschlich ist. Die typische Doppelmoral sovieler türkisch/arabischstämmiger Migranten in Deutschland.

Entschuldigung? Fleisch besteht nunmal aus Tieren und dass die Viehzucht sich schon so einiges hat zu Schulden kommen lassen ist kein Geheimnis. Hast du überhaupt im Ansatz kapiert, was Herr Rether dir mit seinem Beitrag mitteilen wollte? Ich bin auch kein Vegetarier aber ich kann seine Ansichten verstehen. Falls Rether wirklich Vegetarier ist, wie er es mal behauptete, hat das sicher nichts mit Doppelmoral zu tun.

Da bin ich völlig bei dir. Mir hat's etwas an der Motivation gefehlt, auf die "typische Doppelmoral so vieler ... Migranten" zu antworten.

Entscheiden tun wir alle immer noch so gut es geht für uns selbst ...Hagen Rether macht das für sich und uns zur Unterhaltung wenigstens noch mit der gehörigen Portion Ironie und Satire.

Wenn die einem nicht passt und man nicht auf der gleichen Welle schwimmt, kann man sich das Nörgeln auch sparen. Hauptsache Fleisch für 4€ das Kilo.

You're right. However, certain shows are running as well on what we call 3rd programmes - regional public broadcasts - such as BR. On the other hand, those '3rd programmes' are doing loads of productions for the ARD, ZDF, especially the WDR which is the second largest brodcaster in EUROPE with a budget of 1.3 Mrd. €. Did you know that?.

The translation is incorrect. The sense is a totally different one:

"You know what's cynical? A sausage in it's [the animal's] own intestine!"

You grind the animal and then stuff it into it's own intestine...

Your translation means that people would stuff sausages in their butts. I doubt very much, that he wanted to say THAT. :-)

Though "Cynical, that's a sausage up your own intestine." is speaking to the audience... it doesn't necessarily mean that he is speaking about the audience.

Of course, it does not immediately allow you to realize the irony, which he explains afterwards... I mean, it's satire... you're not saying things directly so that anyone immediately understands, but rather making your audience get a weird and vague feeling about something, am I wrong?

I believe you may not have read thoroughly enough. It reads...

"The sows artificially inseminated, the piglets fattened, slaughtered, ground... ...stuffed back into their own intestine and then happy-face-mortadella."

I do not see where that speaks about you or any other human stuffing something up their arse... which he literally says ...to illustrate how awkward and ass-backwards it is to feed animals with food produced from their fellow beings carcasses being ground up.
