My dog (Trebor Eno) only gargles after his lumpy Pear, Banana Strawberry and Raspberry, fruit yogurt, so its just natural to gargle and no one is making fun of a yogurt gargling dog and the dog was not hurt by the yogurt and the fruit lumps help to give the dog some fiber and calcium in its diet and he only has the habit after a lumpy fruit yogurt, so its not being unkind.
