In 1879 Henry George in his book Progress and Poverty asked the question WHY IS THERE SO MUCH POVERTY AMID SO MUCH PROGRESS? His answer pointed out what some of us consider to be the most fundamental practice engaged in virtually everywhere on the planet that gives rise to virtually everything that people consider to be the causes of poverty today. The practice in question is that a small percentage of us claim to "own" the earth and charge others for access to our own planet. All else follows
complete garbage. there is plenty of food produced to feed an even large pop than there is on earth, its a distribution problem. and lack of jobs?? wtf is that? life is full of "jobs", maybe not formal ones where you have a boss and get paid, but when so many are getting paid less than a living wage and abused for it, thats the last thing they need more of. rethink this, and stop regurgitating capitalist propaganda
