hi, do you know if these have more punch than the rb51? i have them like em but need more punch, i was thinking either some rb61 the b2 or some psb or nht.... ialso have some polk tsi 200 i compared to the klipsch rb51 and found the tsi 200 were way more bright than the rb 51,, they had more punch but are much bigger cabinet so duh,, but way too bright for my tastes.

You can only get the small klipsch speakers at best buy. If you want to get their powerful and dynamic speakers, you'll have to go to a retailer or order online.

You obviously havent heard them in person. The higher end klipsch are actually really impressive. Especially for movies due to their bright horn. I used to own a pair

I have heard them in person. Their too bright. Just because the highs are really loud, doesn't mean they are good speakers, or offer quality sound.

All depends on personal preference. I think they sound pretty good for quality too, and I am very picky about quality. So far though, my favorite speakers for quality and depth I have listened to are paradigm studio 100's.

You really, REALLY don't need any good speakesr for the music you are playing. Buy the first set of cheap ass boot sale 3-way speakers that aren't too small and it'll sound impressive allready. This music does NOT contain deep bass. Goes down to 80hz or so. It only contains a lot of punch.

I'm probably going to get B-3s sometime, or F-1 floorstanders. I got to audition the B-2s yesterday because the B-3s were broken (one had a dead woofer, the other a dead tweeter) and it sounded very good. The floorstanders though, would save me the trouble of finding stands and give me better bass.

Actually, I ended up not getting any speakers. I eventually decided that I didn't have room for them, so went with Klipsch's Promedia 2.1s. Then they were out of stock everywhere, so I got a pair of V-Moda Vibe headphones. Another thing I found out though is that in more recent years, Klipsch has just gone down in quality for the money (their Promedias are still good though). If I do buy any speakers they'll probably be from Paradigm.

I was going to buy the Synergy series a couple of years ago but decided the Reference Series were a better match for my use...

For what ended up spending I could have bought a great pair of Martin Logan speakers. :(

I concur, I bought the RF-61 which are the roughly the Reference equivalent of the SB-2.

I feel as though the speakers are a little fatiguing to the ear with music ( Seem to be fine for HT applications though). In hindsight I probably should have gone for a more warmer speaker.

Thanks for the video BTW it's good to see you are happy with your purchase, these speakers are pretty loud and should suffice for a bedroom, PC. Interested to read any more comments you have about the B-2's
