Is this the same kitten that was rescued? that kitten had no markings on its head but this one has..very strange. I was given an abandoned kitten who was about 6 weeks old and he sucks my ear lobes only thing is that he is a fully grown 3 year old now!! still likes my ears..Lol...yes i believe some cats do this if taken from there mother to soon.
Oh, wow! I'm so glad to see her growing up in such a great home! She just gets more and more beautiful! :D Can't wait to see new videos of Miss Nena! :D
Oh dear I think she got weaned off her mommy too early as a kitten... Cats do this as adults because they think that you are their mother and they are mimicking the act of being nursed when they were kittens.
@charlottejena According to Nena's first video, she was rescued. Her "mommy" found her next to her brother, who had unfortunately already passed. I believe she was a week and a half when she was found. She was bottle fed. But I'm so glad she's grown into such a beautiful cat! :D
@dTano lo hacen porque se dice que los gatos domesticos viven toda su vida como gatitos... segun, su mentalidad es igual a la de un gatito, ya que no tienen que cazar para sobrevivir, entre otras cosas.
Los gatos hacen eso porque les recuerda a cuando eran gatitos y comian de su mama. Los gatitos hacen eso mientras comen para que salga leche mas rapido. Regularmente "hacen nido" (como dice mi mama. jaja) cuando se van a acostar y tambien a sus duenos porque los ven como padres. jaja. tu crees?
my kitty does this too. in the morning sometimes i my cat will hop up on my back and knead me =P

@katybyrnes a lot of felines will not develop their markings until the are mature (i.e. like a leopards, cheetahs, for instance) =]]
