i like treyarchs engine only because of the gore..for example if you shot someone in the face with a sawed off shotgun he would be decapitated.also when you shoot someone it doesnt feel like your shooting nothing you see the blood marks.and not to mention the zombie mode thats fun as hell

not really, you see, the americans didn't realize how tightly the japanese troops packed themselves into their small bunkers during the night before, al the Jap soldiers that were on the surface were all but obliterated, but most survived int he bunkers.
and then came the corral, which stopped the armoured land-ships, which would have secured the beach in an hour or 2, but instead the soldiers had to wade through the water, slowly and without armour.

WW2 the western world was in a state of "total war"
Iraq was is a simple Occupation fighting guerrilla forces.
if america declared a state of "total war" thee would be conscripts up the ass, entire cities (not just 2 or 2 streets) getting bombed by formations of 2000 plus bombers.
