...0:59....look at the pressure gauge. Her tank is almost empty...! Not a good idea to start shooting when your tank is empty. Better put some air in there ! ;-) At this point, the pellets will fly slower and more curved than with a fully pressurized tank.
I met Matthew Emmons at a camp I went to over the summer like 2 years ago, he competed in the Olympic in Beijing and lost the gold medal and shot a 4.4 in standing...
I myself shoot Air Rifle in high School, and it is a really mentally tiring, believe it or not. Im actually going to Nationals this year at Fort Benning
The more competitions you enter the easier high level competition gets. I find generaly i shoot better at national & state champs then I do at my home range. Try entering in as many comps as you can away from yr home range. Best of Aussie luck mate!
See, the thing is that Ft. Benning is only like an hour and a half of a drive from my house, and I would love to enter in some competitions there to take my nervousness away, bu the drive is just too long to get there
@STRIKERBOY101 Incorrect Strikerboy101, the ISSF shooting sports require the utmost use of fine muscle coordination with intense mental concentration to achieve high scores. The shooting athlete is almost allways more successful in their work/private life endeavours because of their dedication & psych skills unlike the majority of rugby or football players
@gutntag To me if they arent doing push ups which every sport in the world does besides this one it aint a sport airsoft is a sport its 2 teams, you need to be fit,its compotion so why isnt that in the olympics
@STRIKERBOY101 ISSF shooters & probably all other sports do pushups & excercises for improved muscle fitness, but why would we do "pushups" during a competition???, Do world cup footballers stop during a match & do pushups?.
Physical excercise is what athletes do Before a competition to condition themselves into peak mental & physical state to win.
