have you ever been to their concert?? (i mean i went to the fycso when i was 12 but still :p) amazing! i agree with everything except that i still think the first is the best (my opinion don't post rude comments haters that just hate everything in life, i mean how can you hate a hamster on a piano?) this one is a close second, with (sorry)second at third :) luv ur channel!
I went to one of their recent concerts and I think they played the whole Vices and Virtues album, though I can't quite remember.
I fully agree with you about the formula though, and Nearly Witches also happens to be one of my favorite songs on the album too (my favorite being Sarah Smiles)
But from what I heard, Mona Lisa was not the radio. Such a shame...
Nearly Witches was an amazing song, one of my favourites. By the way, does anyone notice when you listen really closely right after the first chorus is over, the creepy little "nails on a chalkboard" type sound effect?? It drives me crazy NOT to listen to it over and over and over again! The sound effects fit with the song perfectly!
The lyrics turned out better than I hoped for, since Ryan was the main lyricist for their last two albums. I've been listening to it non-stop, the songs are just so catchy! I've been in love with the band since I first listened to the first record. All I can say is that V&V deserves a Grammy for sure ;D
When you mentioned a track called "Sarah Smiles," I immediately googled that to check that it isn't a cover of Hall and Oates' "Sara Smile." It's not. I like the review and would honestly like hearing more album reviews in the future, though I can respect that you might only do them occasionally.
And I thought I was the only one who actually liked sarah smiles. Everyone else I know was complaining about it and I liked it. I kind of prefer Pretty odd to vices and virtues, but that's just me.
i remember when i was younger i used to listen to panic at the disco i dont anymore but my favorite song was the one ...i dont remember what it was called but it was like havent u ever heard of shuting the god damn door now LOL thats all i remember xP
havent listened in like a couple years
not my favorite band but im not gonna judge cuz not everyone has the same tastes in music
I agree that it's sort of selling out to do a review, but you obviously cared about it and had legit points instead of just using the name to get your more views. I LIKE YOU
Gah, I totally agreed. You should do a video talking about everything on your iTunes, because 1. I love your taste in music and need more music, 2. You're good at describing what you hear, and 3. It's different...people review songs, but what you're doing is really original and cool. Maybe you can start something from this? I dunno, just spitballing here, haha.
i love panic at the disco! I really like the ballad of mona lisa. I like alot of their songs but my FAVORITE ALL TIME has to be i write sins not tragedies.
I agree with wale. Your fans are intrested in what YOU have to say. If not, they can go watch someone elses videos. But that would be their loss now wouldn't it. <3 that Cody!
No need to apologize man! You're the chef and we're all diners waiting to see what dish you'll bring out! That said, this was a great review and I hope you do more!
ahhh hahaha that's so awesome that you are a panic! fan too! Panic has been my favorite band since the start, and they have almost shaped me into who i am xD. I wasn't expecting this album to be nearly as good as any of the albums so far... but I must admit it did surprise me. Pretty Odd was my fav. Panic album, so hearing this one kind of disappointed me in a way. I feel like the lyrics weren't as strong as Ross' and like you said, the songs all follow the same formula. I still love the album

You are the reason I am obsessed with Panic! At The Disco.

I've been listening to P!atd since I was 11 too! *highfives*
I had pretty low expectations to Vices & Virtues though, especially lyric-wise since Ryan wrote most of the lyrics on their previous albums.
However, after hearing a few of their new songs I'm pleasantly surprised.
