I went to one of their recent concerts and I think they played the whole Vices and Virtues album, though I can't quite remember.

I fully agree with you about the formula though, and Nearly Witches also happens to be one of my favorite songs on the album too (my favorite being Sarah Smiles)

But from what I heard, Mona Lisa was not the radio. Such a shame...

Nearly Witches was an amazing song, one of my favourites. By the way, does anyone notice when you listen really closely right after the first chorus is over, the creepy little "nails on a chalkboard" type sound effect?? It drives me crazy NOT to listen to it over and over and over again! The sound effects fit with the song perfectly!

The lyrics turned out better than I hoped for, since Ryan was the main lyricist for their last two albums. I've been listening to it non-stop, the songs are just so catchy! I've been in love with the band since I first listened to the first record. All I can say is that V&V deserves a Grammy for sure ;D

When you mentioned a track called "Sarah Smiles," I immediately googled that to check that it isn't a cover of Hall and Oates' "Sara Smile." It's not. I like the review and would honestly like hearing more album reviews in the future, though I can respect that you might only do them occasionally.

And I thought I was the only one who actually liked sarah smiles. Everyone else I know was complaining about it and I liked it. I kind of prefer Pretty odd to vices and virtues, but that's just me.

ahhh hahaha that's so awesome that you are a panic! fan too! Panic has been my favorite band since the start, and they have almost shaped me into who i am xD. I wasn't expecting this album to be nearly as good as any of the albums so far... but I must admit it did surprise me. Pretty Odd was my fav. Panic album, so hearing this one kind of disappointed me in a way. I feel like the lyrics weren't as strong as Ross' and like you said, the songs all follow the same formula. I still love the album

I got their album the first day it came out. :) I must admit, I wasn't a fan of their second album and I was afraid this one would be a lot like that one, but when I realized it was more similar to their first one I listened to it again and I found that I really liked it. :)
