True religion comes from within, and it doesn't involve any mythical cloud man. You might not personally see how religion effects people on a day to day basis, but it sure as hell happens. They're right. Growling came out of the Hardcore Punk Scene of the 1980's. BEfore that, metal singers did whale. Thats why these relatively new genres growl/scream/squel/ whatever. Its because most of the newer metal genres fuse some of the HArdcore Punk into their overall sound.

The name of the band or of the music had something like "vladmir" in it, and the album cover was of a red tone, it had a knight with the horse only on it's 2 back legs, and the knight was holding it's sword to the sky. They're right. Growling came out of the Hardcore Punk Scene of the 1980's. BEfore that, metal singers did whale. Thats why these relatively new genres growl/scream/squel/ whatever. Its because most of the newer metal genres fuse some of the HArdcore Punk into their overall sound.
