I owns all three. I agree with you on the Datejust and Navitimer but not the Speedy. The reason being that it is not recognized by the general public. I worn my Speedy for over 10 years and nobody ever said a thing about it. I would say that a Panerai these days is a real eye catcher and perhaps an iconic watch.

the datejust is a great watch no doubt about it! its a classic and one of the reasons why rolex is so popular! nevertheless the most iconic watch of all time is the rolex submariner! icon in all watch circles from rolex! even though you do adress many interesting functions and features you do give some simple info for the normal non watch community! thank you for that!
