I first climbed the Tourmalet in 1990, none of those ski chalets there then. Been up twice since, and my word, it never gets any easier.. Maybe I;m getting older, and er, have a bit more body fat..

Vous devriez être fier de votre tour sur la montée, c'est 32 km de douleur et de détermination !!

C'est sûr que le Tourmalet, c'est pas l'Aspin. Il y a 25 ans, en montant les deux, j'ai compris la différence entre un col de 1ère catégorie et un col hors catégorie du tour de France. Les 4 derniers km du Tourmalet sont terribles et j'y ai souffert autant que vous. Merci pour cette vidéo et pour la musique.
